Das Zimmer liegt zur Deichseite Richtung Wümme. Ein toller Blick durch das Fenster auf die Wümmewiesen, auf denen manchmal auch die Kühe weiden. Einige Einrichtungsgegenstände wären vorhanden, müssen aber nicht genutzt werden. Es gibt reichlich Platz im Haus. So dient der Alte Kuhstall als Werkstatt und Lager, sowie Veranstaltungsort. Die große Wohnküche ist mit Sofa und Ofen sehr gemütlich.
It's a relatively small, cozy room with green meadows in front of the windows. Actually, there are green meadows all around : ). There is furniture, but you can bring your own. We have a big kitchen with a cozy sofa, a spacious hallway with room for big dinners, and a barn with a little workshop and space to store things and throw parties.
Im wunderschönen Blockland liegt unser Hof zwischen Wümme und Oslebshausen. Der nächste Bahnhof ist in Oslebshausen. Mit dem Fahrrad brauchst zu 15 Minuten. Der Hauptbahnhof ist 12km entfernt und die Uni 8km.
The place is situated in „Blockland“, close to the Ritterhuder Heerstraße between Ritterhude and Oslebshausen. You need 15 min by bike to the station in Oslebshausen, the train goes every half hour (sometimes more often) and needs 7 min to the city. It's by bike 12 km to the city and 8km to Uni.
Seit Mitte Dezember 2014 bewohnen wir den Hof. Wir haben allesamt Interesse am Landleben und gärtnern viel und verkochen das Angebaute und sitzen gemütlich zusammen und quatschen miteinander. Es gibt immer etwas zu tun und wir sind viel damit beschäftigt die Arbeiten zu erfüllen. Alle haben ihren eigenen Rhytmus, der sich durch unterschiedliche Tätigkeiten entwickelt. Einige sind öfter da als Andere. Es ist auf jeden Fall alles sehr frei und ungezwungen. Du hast hier Zeit zum Sein und genießen. Die MitbewohnerInnen sind allesamt herzliche und frohe Menschen. Außerdem wohnen seit Kurzem drei Katzen im Hühnerhaus, in dem keine Hühner leben. Die sollen Anfang des nächsten Jahres dazukommen. Im Dezember wird eine Familie mit zwei Kindern ins Nachbargebäude ziehen, es ist das alte Backhaus und die Familie zieht aus Frankreich zu uns.
We are six (seven, eight) people cherishing living in the countryside. Since December 2014 we live on this former farm and enjoy being outside or having long cozy evenings together. You can have time for yourself or be in company - there is plenty of space for anything and plenty of sympathy for any mood. Living together works for us without many rules about community-duties (actually we probably have none...). We have all different rhythms and occupations, some of us are much less in the house than others.
For a few months we have three cats living in the garden, who slowly become less shy with us. In December there's a small french-german family moving in to a small house belonging to our place, so they will be part of our life here aswell.
