The Room offers much space with its 20sqm. And it is bright and sunny because of its 2 big Windows. Another advantage is the ample of power outlets in the Room. The Room is connected to our big kitchen, which has a sofa, and is a place where everyone can socialize. The newly fitted balcony is accessible through this kitchen via a large door in front of your room.
The shared flat is in the middle of the Nordstadt. There are many supermarkets and places to get food around. By foot you will need 1 minute to the next busstop, 5 minutes to the next subway-station and 10-15 minutes to the main trainstation and the inner city. The university is 25 minutes away if you travel by bike or with public transport.
The flat share consists of Aziz, Irem, and Shashank. We prefer English as a common language, but each of us understands German as we are actively learning the language.

Hello, I’m Irem. 26 years old from Türkiye. I moved to Germany 6 months ago for a Master’s degree at TU Dortmund. But for the summer semester I have just started a new masters degree at Economics in HHU-Düsseldorf, which means I might move out soon to be closer to my new University. I like listening to music, watching series, movies…But nowadays I spend most of my free time learning German. Since I am studying and also working in different cities, I might often not be at home.
Aziz:
Hi, I'm Aziz, 28 years old. I came to Germany from Turkey 6 months ago to learn German. I'm currently learning German. At the same time I play football at Hellweg Dortmund football club. I attend a language course and football training during the week. I go to work part time sometimes. In my free time I make music digitally in my room. I mostly cook at home. And I like to spend time on the balcony.
Shashank:
Hi, I'm Shashank (26/M) from India, and I've been living in Germany for 3+ years. I work as a software developer part-time in Home-Office and I will start my thesis from May. I love to listen to music and play my guitar, enjoy spending time with friends, or relish some good home-cooked food. You shall find me working on my laptop, going to the gym or cooking during the week.
We like to keep the apartment clean and tidy by following a cleaning plan. Each of us cooks for themselves and sometimes plan outings or coffee evenings together. As we all are students, we have busy weekdays at the university and are not a party-wg
