Deine 20m² sind eigentlich anderthalb: Dein fast quadratisches, morgens lichtdurchflutetes Zimmer ist 11 m² groß, dazu gehört Dir die Hälfte des 18m² großen möblierten Wohnzimmers mit Balkon, den wir gemeinsam benutzen. Die Gemeinschaftsräume in der 61m² großen Wohnung sind fast vollständig möbliert (wir müssen noch Stühle für die Küche nachkaufen), wir können es uns aber auch gemeinsam gemütlich machen.
You will get to live in a cozy room of 11 m² that gets the sunlight in the mornings plus half of th 18m² living room and balcony that we share. We live in a 3 room apartment with shared rooms almost fully furnished (we will need to buy chairs for the kitchen), but we can sure change some of it if you want.
Die Wohnung liegt direkt am (bald: Kultur-)Kraftwerk Mitte, 10 Fußminuten von der Altstadt entfernt und 5 min vom Bahnhof Mitte, sodass mit Bus und Bahn fast alles in der Stadt innerhalb von 30min zu erreichen ist. Straßenbahnhaltestellen sind in weniger als 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Hochschule für Musik ist direkt gegenüber.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es ebenfalls genügend: Aldi, Konsum, Rewe. Und für alle, die Wert auf Bio legen, ist die Verbrauchergemeinschaft (VG) auch gleich um die Ecke.
The apartment is situated on Wettiner Platz facing Kraftwerk Mitte and, within 10min walking distance from the city center. Public transport (train station Bahnhof Mitte, DVB tram and bus stations) can be reached within less than 5min.
You have a good choice for food shopping: Aldi, Konsum, Rewe are nearby, and the organic food cooperation Verbrauchergemeinschaft (VG) is right next door.
Ich (Maria) bin Mathematikerin und momentan auf Jobsuche. Wir sitzen gern bei einem Weinchen auf dem Balkon und quatschen, schauen einen Film oder frühstücken am Wochenende mal gemeinsam. Es kann aber auch vorkommen, dass wir uns mal eine Woche gar nicht sehen, weil jeder zu tun hat – grundsätzlich soll es aber keine reine Zweck-WG werden.
Your future flatmate Maria is a mathematician and currently searching for a new job. We like sharing a glass of wine on the balcony, chat, watch a movie together or occasionally have breakfast together. Of course it might happen that we won't see each other for a week, because everybody is busy – but you don't intend to only share the rent and nothing else.
Das Rauchen in der Wohnung ist nicht erlaubt – solltest Du Dir abends aber mal auf dem Balkon eine Pfeife anstecken wollen, kein Problem ;-)

Smoking in the apartment is not wanted – but if you want to light up a pipe on the balcony every now and then, this should be no problem ;-)
