A house so close to the elbe!
I am lookig for a roommate as my roommate of 3 years is moving away for another adventure.
A room in a 2 bed room WG. Both the rooms are equally spaced. We share a hallway, kitchen and bathroom. The rooms are well lit. You dont get direct sunlight, but its pretty bright throughout the day. The kitchen gets direct sunlight in the morning. It is nice to sit there and have a nice breakfast.
The room itself is spacious. 22sq m in size with huge windows looking at the park. It is semi-furnished (meaning my roommate would like to leave her couch and bed frame; for a small price ofcourse). The room is largely white coloured, one part of the wall is painted turquiose.
The kitchen is already fully equipped with a toaster, oven, kettle etc. We have a basement room where you can store extra stuff and we also have a place to store bikes.
In total you'll pay somewhere between 330-350 euros/ month (320 rent+internet+radio tax+gas). Available after april 15th as well (15.04.2022)

Ein Haus so nah an der Elbe!
Ich bin auf der Suche nach einem Mitbewohner, da meine Mitbewohnerin von 3 Jahren wegzieht für ein neues Abenteuer.
Ein Zimmer in einer 2-Zimmer-WG. Die beiden Zimmer sind gleich groß. Wir teilen uns einen Flur, Küche und Bad. Die Zimmer sind gut beleuchtet. Man bekommt zwar kein direktes Sonnenlicht, aber es ist den ganzen Tag über ziemlich hell. Die Küche bekommt morgens direktes Sonnenlicht. Es ist schön, dort zu sitzen und ein schönes Frühstück zu haben.
Das Zimmer selbst ist geräumig. 22qm groß mit riesigen Fenstern mit Blick auf den Park. Es ist teilmöbliert (d.h. meine Mitbewohnerin würde gerne ihre Couch und ihr Bettgestell zur Verfügung stellen; gegen einen kleinen Preis natürlich). Das Zimmer ist größtenteils in weiß gehalten, ein Teil der Wand ist türkis gestrichen.
Die Küche ist bereits voll ausgestattet mit Toaster, Backofen, Wasserkocher etc. Wir haben einen Kellerraum, in dem Sie zusätzliche Sachen unterbringen können, und wir haben auch einen Platz für Fahrräder.
Insgesamt zahlen Sie zwischen 330-350 Euro/Monat (320 Miete+Internet+Radiogebühren+Gas). Auch nach dem 15. April verfügbar (15.04.2022)
The WG is in Johannstadt, near the elbe. It is approximately 100m to the river.
Public transportation: The bus 62 passes by our street. The Gutenbergstrasse stop is 5 min away.
Train station: Neustadt (20mins) and Hauptbanhof (30mins)
Supermarkets: Diska and Pfennigpfeiffer (7 mins), Netto (10 min walk), Aldi and Konsum (7 min walk).
Restaurants: Fantina (the best sicilian pizza!), Aslan (good Durums and Kebabs) and many other restaurants! Even a Spetzi!
Institutes or clinics: TUD campus, BIOTEC, CRTD, MPI, DZNE and the Carl Gustav Carus Uniklinikum.

About me: I'm 26 years old and from India. I grew up bilingual, so my English is bearable is suppose. I have been living in Germany for 4 years now. Haven’t learnt the language fluently, but can speak it enough to get by. I am currently enrolled in the university, but am actively looking for a PhD opportunity.
WG life: I love to cook and have friends over. The house is too small to host big parties. But the rooms are big enough for people to hangout. House might look chaiotic at first, but i am also open to rearranging stuff. We can agree upon a cleaning schedule and maintain the house (i prefer a clean household). You might also find a lot of plants around, hope you are a plant friendly person!
I would prefer someone who perfers to be social once in a while, as i dont want to feel like i live with a stranger. I also prefer an english speaker but am open to having someone who can be a tandem partner as well.

Über mich: Ich bin 26 Jahre alt und komme aus Indien. Ich bin zweisprachig aufgewachsen, also ist mein Englisch erträglich, nehme ich an. Ich lebe jetzt seit 4 Jahren in Deutschland. Ich habe die Sprache nicht fließend gelernt, aber ich spreche sie genug, um mich zurechtzufinden. Ich bin derzeit an der Universität eingeschrieben, suche aber aktiv nach einer Promotionsmöglichkeit.
WG-Leben: Ich liebe es, zu kochen und Freunde einzuladen. Das Haus ist zu klein, um große Partys zu veranstalten. Aber die Zimmer sind groß genug, dass man sich dort aufhalten kann. Das Haus sieht vielleicht auf den ersten Blick chaotisch aus, aber ich bin auch offen dafür, Dinge umzuorganisieren. Wir können uns auf einen Reinigungsplan einigen und das Haus pflegen (ich bevorzuge einen sauberen Haushalt). Sie könnten auch eine Menge von Pflanzen um zu finden, hoffe, Sie sind eine Pflanze freundliche Person!
Ich würde jemanden bevorzugen, der es liebt, ab und zu gesellig zu sein, da ich nicht das Gefühl haben möchte, mit einem Fremden zu leben. Ich bevorzuge auch ein Englisch-Sprecher, sondern bin offen für jemanden, der ein Tandem-Partner als gut sein kann.
