Unsere erwachsene Tochter ist ausgezogen und wir möchten ihr Zimmer untervermieten – idealerweise an eine Doktorandin, Di-Mi-Do-Gastwissenschaftlerin, Praktikantin, Pendlerin o.ä., die unsere Wohnung mit uns an 3-5 Tagen in der Woche teilt.
Wir selbst sind eine Ur-Dresdener Familie (52/41 Jahre) und unsere jüngere Tochter (14 Jahre), unternehmen viel (Kino, Theater, Konzerte etc.), sind reiselustig, am Wochenende oft draußen im Grünen und aufgeschlossen.
Das Zimmer ist 15m² groß. Aus zwei Fenstern genießt Du die ruhige Aussicht auf einen grünen Innenhof. Es besitzt ein 1,40m-Schlaf-Futon-Sofa, ein riesiges wohlsortiertes Bücherregal, 1 Schrank, 1 Schreibtisch und 1 Stuhl.
Mit uns teilst Du das Bad und die Küche, die ausgestattet sind mit allem, was man dort so braucht und wir teilen gern! Dein Zimmer hast Du natürlich ganz für Dich allein. Höchstens ab und zu werden wir Dich mal bitten, uns eines unserer Bücher aus Deinem Regal zu "leihen".

Are you curious about how Germans live? We invite you to get first-hand experiences as our tenant. Our oldest daughter moved out and we wish to rent her room to someone who – due to whatever reason – is staying in town just during the week and is traveling (mainly) on the weekends (or the other way around).
We are a 3 headed, Dresden-rooted family. This is our younger daughter (14 years), my husband (52 years) and me (41 years). We love travelling, enjoy nature, love movies and concerts.
The room has two windows with view over a very green court. As you can see on the picture, it is full furnitured with a futon bed, a chair and a table, a wardrobe. Additionally there is a huge book shelf. This is our “library” and most books are in German.
We share 1 bath and 1 kitchen and we would be happy if - from time to time - you can lend us a book from our library …
Unsere Wohnung liegt in einer teilsanierten Stadtvilla (gebaut um 1900) zwischen Großem Garten (ideal zum Joggen und Relaxen) und der Haltestelle Zwinglistr. (Linie1, 2, 61, 64, 85). Von hier erreichst Du die Uni oder das Stadtzentrum in je 15 min. Alle möglichen Läden (Bio-Supermarkt, Discounter, etc.) sind nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Kneipen sind in unserem ruhigen Viertel hingegen eher rar.
The flat is located in a (partly) renovated Wilhelminan building (from early 20th century) in a quiet quarter. Big, famous park "Großer Garten" is nearby as well as next tram/bus stop Zwinglistraße (2 minutes). University and city centre are reachable in almost quarter an hour.
Bei uns geht es "ganz normal" zu: Wir arbeiten beide tagsüber und unsere Tochter geht in die Schule. Abends sind wir in der Woche meist zu Hause. Wir kochen gern (auch gemeinsam), v.a. an den Wochenenden. Unsere Tochter spielt gern Klavier.
Wie weit Du Dich in unserer Familie anschließen, oder Dein eigenes Ding machen willst, überlassen wir natürlich gern Dir. Aber wir freuen uns über jeden Gast am Tisch, über ein gemeinsamen Spieleabend, Glas Wein auf dem Balkon und gehen auch gern mit Dir ins Kino. Spielst Du selbst auch ein Instrument? Unsere Tochter sucht immer nach musikalischem Austausch ...
We are quite a "normal family": Parents work day over, daughter goes to school, evenings are reserved for recreation including cooking, playing of board games or music.
It would be up to you how much you want to integrate in our family (I mean not as member, but as something like a good friend). We definitly accept if you prefer keeping some distance. However, we are happy about any additional table guest, about interesting talks and insigths in different cultures, about sitting together at the balcony with a glass of wine or many other activities. Especially our daughter would be happy about a piano partner for pieces for four hands … (definitely this is just her wish and invitation, but no selection criteria for the next tenant) ...
