Wenn dir das Mantra aller Wohnungsmakler à la "Lage, Lage, Lage!" ebenso im Blut liegt wie uns, du auf überflüssigen Designerschnickschnack wie Regenwalddusche, Edelstahleinbauküche mit Bartresen und den Duft verschwitzter Handwerker, die soeben mit der Renovierung fertig geworden sind, verzichten kannst, dann bringst du bereits recht gute Voraussetzungen mit. Die WG existiert seit 2006, ist demnach etwas weiter davon entfernt, was man gemeinhin als "taufrisch" bezeichnen würde. Dennoch leben die meisten von uns hier bereits seit mehreren Jahren, da wir alle wissen, dass man eben oftmals nicht alle schönen Dinge im Leben gleichzeitig haben kann. Außer man ist Batman. Aber der hat keine Eltern mehr. Siehst du? Nicht einmal Batman kann alles haben.

Gelegen ist dieses kleine Paradies inmitten der Perle des Ostens – der wunderschönen Dresdner Altstadt. Nachdem du aus dem Hinterausgang fällst, erwartet dich direkt ein gigantischer Tempel der Konsumfreude, unter Einheimischen auch als „Altmarktgalerie“ bekannt. Dort findest du all das, was dein Herz begehrt und natürlich noch viel mehr Dinge, die du niemals brauchen wirst, die aber irgendwie „nice to have“ sind. Zusätzlich bietet sich dir mit der Haltestelle „Prager Straße“ eine ideale Verkehrsanbindung, die zu jeder Tages- und v.a. Nachtzeit dein neuer bester Freund werden wird. Sofern es dich nach kulinarischen Genüssen lechzt und du nicht gänzlich müden Fußes bist, erstreckt sich vor dir eine Vielzahl an hervorragenden Restaurants und sogar so manches Glanzstück der Barszene. Vorausgesetzt, es gibt sie noch nach der Pandemie.

If the mantra of all real estate agents à la "location, location, location!" is in your blood as much as it is in ours, you can do without superfluous designer gimmicks such as rainforest showers, built-in stainless steel kitchens with bar counters and the smell of sweaty handymen who have just finished renovating, then you already have pretty good prerequisites. The shared flat has existed since 2006, so it is a little further away from what one would generally call "dewy fresh". Nevertheless, most of us have been living here for several years, since we all know that you can't have all the good things in life at the same time. Unless you are Batman. But he has no parents anymore. You see? Not even Batman can have everything.

This little paradise is located in the middle of the pearl of the east - the beautiful old part of Dresden. After you exit the back door, a gigantic temple of consumerism awaits you, known to locals as the "Altmarktgalerie". There you will find everything your heart desires and of course many more things you will never need, but which are somehow "nice to have". In addition, the stop "Prager Straße" offers you an ideal public transport connection, which will become your new best friend at any time of the day and especially at night. As long as you are not completely tired and longing for culinary delights, you will find a variety of excellent restaurants and even some of the highlights of thelocal bar culture. Assuming they are still around after the pandemic.

Aktuell leben hier drei Leute, mit gänzlich unterschiedlichen Interessen.
Da wäre einerseits Paul, angehender Seelenklempner und Cocktail-Connaisseur. Die Medizinstudentin Aylin rundet die körperlich-geistige Versorgung ab. Schließlich wäre da noch Konrad, schon solang er denken kann das Abziehbild eines Freelancers, der sich in allen möglichen Bereichen ausprobiert. Aktuell ist das irgendwas mit Texten und Marketing.

Doch keine Bange, viel persönlicher wird es nicht, wenn du nicht willst. Keine Lust auf ewig lange Gespräche über die toten Träume, verpassten Chancen und melancholischen Lebensgeschichten deiner Mitbewohner? Sehr gut, wir nämlich in der Regel auch nicht. Vorbei sind daher deine Zeiten des Bangens und des Hoffens. Du erhältst hiermit die einmalige Gelegenheit in der wohl großartigsten, weil antisozialsten WG der Dresdner Altstadt ein neues Zuhause zu finden.
Es gibt kaum etwas Beschisseneres, als bemühte WG-Aktivitäten, auf die man eigentlich gerade so überhaupt gar keine Lust hat.
Wer eine Party- und Abenteuer-WG sucht, die jeden Tag gemeinsam unterwegs ist, wird sehr enttäuscht sein. Wir sind Menschen, die eher seltener zusammen etwas unternehmen, sich dafür aber hervorragend auf das eigene Leben konzentrieren können.
Mit uns musst du weder reden noch sonst irgendwie interagieren - solange die Miete regelmäßig auf dem dafür vorgesehenen Konto landet, ist uns der Rest relativ egal. Abgesehen vom Putzen, aber dafür gibt's ein super stylisches Whiteboard, an dem vielleicht auch bald dein Name verewigt werden wird.
Falls wir wider Erwarten doch plötzlich alle BFFs werden und nicht mehr ohne den anderen auskommen - auch gut.

Wenn du dich bis hierhin durchgekämpft und wir dich einladen, dann gibt's 'nen virtuellen Keks. Wenn du zusätzlich auch schon mal Bekanntschaft mit einem Putzlappen geschlossen hast und weißt, was man damit so für schöne Dinge machen kann (Nein, nicht so etwas. Hör auf, so schmutzig zu denken.), dann bist du umso mehr willkommen. Wir sind zwar keine Sauberkeitsfanatiker mit Zwangsneurose, aber gammlig soll’s hier auch nicht werden.
Falls du außerdem noch tolle Dinge mitbringen kannst, die das Leben hier noch mehr verschönern, als es ohnehin schon ist, dann fühl dich dazu ermutigt, sie in dein neues Heim mitzunehmen. Wir leben zwar nicht ganz nach dem Sparrow’schen Motto: „Nimm was du kriegen kannst und gib nichts wieder zurück!“ – aber mehr Luxus ist immer besser als weniger Luxus.

Currently three people live here, with completely different interests: Paul, cocktail enthusiast and psychologist to be and
Aylin, a medic student account for the physio-/psychological care in the house. Konrad, in the mean time has been trying to find the meaning of life. He's been the prototype of a freelancer who tries his hand in all kinds of areas for as long as he can remember. At the moment it's something with writing and marketing.

But don't worry, it won't get much more personal if you don't want it to. Don't feel like talking forever about the dead dreams, missed opportunities and melancholic life stories of your roommates? Excellent, because we usually don't either. So your times of fear and hope are over. You have the unique opportunity to find a new home in the probably greatest, because most antisocial shared flat in Dresden's old town.
There's hardly anything more shitty than having to engage in activities in a shared apartment that you don't really want to do at all.
If you are looking for a shared flat for parties and adventures, travelling together every day, you will be very disappointed. We are people who rarely do anything together, but who can focus on our own lives.
You don't have to talk to us or interact with us in any other way - as long as the rent regularly ends up in the designated account, we don't care about the rest. Apart from the cleaning, but for that we have a super stylish whiteboard, which might soon have your name on it.
If, contrary to expectations, we suddenly all become BFFs and can no longer live without each other - that's fine, too.

If you make it to this point and we invite you, we'll give you a cookie. If you also got acquainted with a cleaning rag and know what nice things you can do with it (No, not something like that. Stop thinking so dirty), then you are all the more welcome. We are not compulsive cleanliness fanatics, but it's not supposed to get rotten here either.
If you can also bring some great things that will make life here even more beautiful than it already is, feel encouraged to bring them to your new home. We don't live according to Sparrow's motto: "Take what you can get and give nothing back! - but more luxury is always better than less luxury.

Aktuell können wir das Zimmer unbefristet langfristig oder auch befristet kurzfristig vergeben - wer also für ein Praktikum oder ähnliches für den Sommer ein Zimmer braucht, ist willkommen! Die Mindestmietdauer beträgt 3 Monate, ansonsten sind der Kreativität der Vertragsgebung keine Grenzen gesetzt (aus natürlich geltender Gesetze ;) )

Sofern du noch irgendwelche Fragen hast, sei dir eine Textnachricht als Kontaktoption nahegelegt und ich werde mich bemühen, möglichst zeitnah zu antworten. Alternativ können wir auch gerne telefonieren, ich versuche zeitnah zurückzurufen falls ich einen Anruf verpassen sollte.

*Angehörigen der WG-Bewohner ist die Bewerbung leider untersagt. Der Rechtsweg ist ausgeschlossen. Haustiere können einziehen, wenn sie cool sind. Nicht cool sind Kinder.

**Corona-Hinweis: Damit die WG-Castings nicht plötzlich zum Super-Spreader-Event avancieren, bitten wir jeden Bewerber eine Maske während des Bewerbungsgesprächs zu tragen. Da wir leider keine PCR-Schnelltests an der Haustür anbieten können, ist das eine notwendige Vorsichtsmaßnahme um unser aller Gesundheit zu garantieren. Bewerber ohne Maske werden diskussionslos wieder nach Hause geschickt. Alternativ sind selbstverständlich auch Gespräche über Zoom/Skype/Discord möglich.

*Members of the shared flat unfortunately are not allowed to apply. Legal action is excluded. Pets can move in if they are cool. Children are not cool.

**Corona note: In order to prevent the castings from suddenly becoming a super-spreader event, we ask each applicant to wear a mask during the interview. Since we unfortunately cannot offer PCR quick tests at the front door, this is a necessary precaution to guarantee the health of all of us. Applicants without a mask will be sent back home without discussion. Alternatively, calls via Zoom/Skype/Discord are of course also possible.
