Your room has a balcony facing the courtyard. The ceiling height is approximately 3 meters and the sloping roof protruding into the right hand outer wall gives the room a distinct character. There’s no furniture in the room right now, in case you want to bring your own. However, it would be no problem for me to furnish it with basic necessities from IKEA or whatever.
The Stresemannplatz in the part of town called Striesen-Süd is a good adress in Dresden. It’s close to the center, yet quiet and sprinkled with parks, of which the most prominent example is of course the „Große Garten“. It’s literally 200 m straight down the road from the buildings main entrance. The apartment offers you another balcony on which to enjoy the afternoon sun and the occasional sunset. All basic amenities are included. There are Bus and tram connections five minutes away no matter the direction you are walking in.
The offer: cozy room with a balcony in return for you managing the household. This includes, but is not limited to:
- manage laundry as needed (wash, dry, iron)
- mop floor weekly
- clean bathrooms weekly
- clean kitchen daily (wipe the sink and ceran field and table)
- clean windows quarterly
- go shopping weekly (you can usually take my car for that) / manage food stock
- fetch the mail (and open it and send me a snap shot via WhatsApp if I’m not there)
- suggest improvements to the apartment
- (I make my own food, if you want I can make more for you)
Except for my bedroom the motto is „mi casa su casa“. There are two bathrooms so there should never be any trouble with colliding morning routines.
