Cozy Room in Dorm Flat / Zimmer in Wohnheim (FAU STUDENTS ONLY/NUR AN FAU STUDIERENDE)

Das Zimmer ist in einem Wohnheim, ist in gutem Zustand und besteht aus einem gepflegten Bad (Es ist sehr hygienisch und ich würde es gerne so halten) und 2 Zimmern. Durch die hohe Decke wirkt das Zimmer sehr groß und offen, durch die Fensterfront, die sich entlang der gesamten Breite des Zimmers erstreckt, ist es sehr hell. Das Zimmer hat eine kleine Galerie, auf die man mit einer Leiter hochkommt. Für die Leiter, Jalousien und das Geländer oben wird stets für jeden Nachmieter eine Einmal-Übernahmezahlung beansprucht, da dies Privateigentum ist- meine aktuelle Mitbewohnerin hat nach ihrem Einzug einiges an der Wohnung aufgehübscht (komplettes Geländer an der Galerie neu gebaut, Leiter weiß gestrichen, neue Jalousie, Garderobe und Schuhregal im Flur gebaut) und hätte dafür gern einmalig 220€. Damals musste sie 150 zahlen und hat es wie gesagt noch unter großem Aufwand neu gebaut/verschönert.
Das Bett, was aktuell auf den Fotos zu sehen ist, ist 1,40 m breit und selbst mitgebracht, d.h. es passt locker ein breiteres Bett rein. Das wohnheimseigene bett (wenn Sie nicht vorhaben, Ihr eigenes Bett mitzubringen, können Sie es benutzen) muss dann jedoch im Regelfall auf eigene Faust irgendwo verstaut werden, im Wohnheim gibt es dafür keinen Kellerraum (alles weitere dazu beim Kennenlernen).

Außer Kaltmiete und Betriebskosten sind in der Miete enthalten:- Heizkostenpauschale- Strom und Internet- Nutzung der Gemeinschaftsküche- Zugang zum Wasch- und Trockenraum (1€/Vorgang)

Das Apartment ist möbliert mit:- 90x200cm Bett, Schreibtisch, Stuhl- 2 große Regale - Kleiderschrank

Die Gemeinschaftsküche wird theoretisch von deinen 4 zukünftigen Stockwerk-Nachbarn mitbenutzt, aktiv kochen dort aber eher 1-2 Personen. Einmal die Woche wird die Küche von einer Reinigungskraft gesäubert. In der Küche sind Gemeinschaftsgeschirr, -besteck, -küchenutensilien (ich würde aber empfehlen, selbst etwas mitzubringen), 2 Kühlschränke (wir haben auch einen zusätzlichen Kühlschrank in Wohnung), einein großer abschließbarer Küchenschrank pro Person, ein Ofen und natürlich ein Herd vorhanden.

Wir haben ein flexibles Einzugsdatum ab dem 1. Mai. Der Einzugstermin ist variabel, nach Absprache kann der Umzug auch um ein paar Tage nach vorne oder hinten verschoben werden.

The flat is located in a student dorm, it basically consists of 2 rooms and a bathroom in a nice and hygienic condition (I'd really like to keep it that way). The ceiling is very high and windows are considerably big so the place is properly taking the daylight. The room has a very nice attic/loft inside and accessible with a stabilized ladder. For the ladder, blinds and the railing above, a one-time takeover payment is always claimed for each subsequent tenant, since this is private property - my current roommate has prettied up a few things in the apartment after moving in (complete railings on the gallery rebuilt, ladder painted white, new blinds, wardrobe and shoe rack built in the hallway) and would like a one-time payment of €220. At that time she had to pay 150 and as I said, she rebuilt/embellished it at great expense.
The bed, which can currently be seen in the photos, is 1.40 m wide and is brought by herself, so as you can see, a wider bed easily fits in. However, the bed that is offered by the dormitory usually has to be stored away somewhere if you are not planning to use it because there is no space in the basement.

In addition to the base rent, the utilities includes; heating cost, electricity, internet, usage of the common kitchen and access to the washing and drying room (costs €1 per wash).

The room is furnished and includes; a 90x200 bed, a desk & chair, 2 shelves and a wardrobe.

The common kitchen in the floor is formally being used with 4 people but only 1-2 of the neighbors are actively cooking there. So compared to the other shared kitchens it is a considerably calm one I'd say. There's a cleaning service for the kitchen that comes on every Tuesday. The kitchen is about; 2 fridges (we also got an extra fridge in the flat), an oven, stove and some minor common kitchen equipments (so having your own cooking equipments and dining set is a must).

The move in date is a bit flexible. It could be few days earlier or later than May 1st.
