Hi, Everyone
Since I am moving out, I'm looking for someone who wants to rent my room in the 4th floor of a building in Bockenheim.
The room hast two large windows and white walls, so that it's very bright.
It would be interesting if the new tenant could keep the my bedroom furniture and participate in the cost of the furniture of the common áreas for a fee of 400€, negotiable.
The bedroom furniture includes:
-storage bed and mattress
-nightstand
-chest drawer
-desk
-armchair
In the apartment we have a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, an electric stove and a fridge. There's also a washing machine in the badroom. However, the highlight for me is the spacious living room. There we have a very comfortable couch that you can open up to either enjoy a quiet evening or as a bed, if someone comes to visit, and a TV Where you can project from your Phone and/or Computer.
The building has no elevator.
Location
The S-Bahn-Station Westbahnhof is located 3 minutes away by foot. From there you can get to the central train station in 8 minutes. There are also busses which go from Westbahnhof to Nordend/Westend so that the University campus can be reached in about 20 minutes.
On top of this there's the tram station just in the corner. By tram you can be in Rebstockpark in a few minutes or even in Frankfurt Messe (where the Skyline Plaza also is).
Last but not least there are metro stations located at the distance of a 15 minute walk (Leipziger Straße or Messe). That way you'll also have good connections to the metro network.
There are plenty of shopping possibilities next to the apartment. There is a REWE just in the front of the building as well as a Lidl by Westbahnhof and many supermarkets in Leipziger Str. You'll also find drug stores, restaurants, bars, pharmacies and everything else you need for your daily life there.
WG - Life
I am leaving, but my current flatmate will stay. He is Nice and easy going person, and always willing to watch a movie or play Games. He also enjoys getting together with friends inside and outside the apartment.
We clean the apartment at least once a week, even though we don't really follow a cleaning schedule. We do try to keep things clean, but don't freak out over it.
Bockenheim is an underrated neighbourhood in Frankfurt. It might be the most central one, but the connections to the city center as well as all the possibilities related to eating out, going for a walk or running errands are so many that you have everything you need just around the corner.
If you're interested in the room, leave me a message and we can schedule a visit (also online)
