First-floor apartment in a six-apartment unit.
Your future room, the left bedroom, has three windows (with fly screens and pleated blinds). The room is about 16 square meters. It has high quality wood-style flooring and is furnished. The furniture you see in the pictures is the furniture that will stay in the room. The bed is a single bed 90x200cm.
The other two rooms are my bedroom and my living room/office (not shared).
The shared bathroom is cozy but large enough for a bathtub and has a big window.
There is a large additional room in the basement, which can be used for bike storage, and there is also a room under the roof to hang laundry.
The apartment is right on the border of the Ginnheim and Bockenheim districts.
The public transport connection to the city center and all university campuses is extremely good.
When it comes to shopping (Rewe, bakery, bank, Lidl, Aldi, kiosk and a few more) everything needed is also within walking distance.
Walking distance:
Ginnheim subway station (U1, U9, tram 16 and buses 39 / 64 / 69): ~7 min
Markus-Krankenhaus station (tram 16 and buses 34 / 39 / 69): ~3 min
Distance with public transport:
university campus Westend: 17 min
university campus Riedberg: 12 min
sports campus: 2 min
main central station: 13 min
airport: 35 min
west train station: 7 min (+3 min walk)
south train station: 21 min
Despite the central location the street here is really quiet. You barely hear any street noise.
Free parking is available on the street. However, there are no private parking spots for the building.
At the end of the next street you can directly enter the Niddapark, which is the second largest park area in Frankfurt.
Hello there,
My name is Hannah. I am 34 years old and I’m looking for someone to share my flat with.
I study to become a teacher and I do work, part time, at a vocational school. Because of this I often study on weekends.
That's why it would be perfect, if you would work in Frankfurt and commute back home on the weekends (if that is the case, you will pay 50€ less rent).
Ideally, I’m seeking, who would like something in between “just a flat share” and “a social flat”.
Doing things together every once in a while - cool, but I also do enjoy a lot of “me time”.
I am rather calm, quiet, laid back. I usually don’t really like parties with loud music and a lot of guests (for birthdays and such, of course we can figure something out, as long as it preferably doesn’t come as a surprise, or at the last minute).
Open communication is extremely important to me. I hope we create an environment where we are able to agree on things together but also openly discuss things that might not go smoothly from the beginning and may need to be worked on.
Cleanliness and tidiness are pretty essential to me, especially in the shared rooms. A cleaning schedule is cool but I’m also open to other agreements, as long as they work well.
You should be open towards people that belong to the LGBTQIA+ community and please know that things like racism, misogyny, sexism (...) have no place in this home.
One important thing I have to mention, I have asthma - I’m allergic to pets, which means that having pets in the apartment is sadly an absolute no go. No small animals like bunnies or hamsters, no dog that’s just visiting for five minutes, and also no cat that needs pet-sitting just for a short while. Because all those things sadly take my breath away… and not in a pleasant way.
If, after reading all of this, you still think that living with me could be nice I’d also recommend reading the longer version of this text with a bit more info about me here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/17p4t-yeA8_QUcFZhefSQLKfRa_hba0GlLjb9kKjv6Q8/edit?usp=sharing
And then I would love a message with some information about yourself.
If I also feel that we might be a good fit, I’d love you to come over and check out the room/apartment, so that we can also see, if we like each other in person.
I’m looking forward to your message!
Kind regards,
Hannah
→ → → PLEASE NOTE: If you want the room "full time" (as in you are not driving home on weekends) the rent is 620€ ← ← ←
Utility costs include water, heating and working costs. Other costs are electricity, hallway cleaning, internet and gez-fees.
The flat does come with a robot vaccum (his name is Alfred ;) ), smart heating and smart lights (the latter only in the shared rooms).
My current flatmate moves out on September 30.
To make it easier for both of us, your first message should include:
- do you want to rent long term or short term
- if you want to rent full time, please tell me that you understood that it's more expensive (620€)
- tell me about yourself please, I really wanna know who the person is that I am talking to =)
- tell me that you understood that the move in day is the 1st of October
Thank you so much! Looking forward hearing from you!
