International Flat-Share
We - that is Anna (F) Kaan (M) and Richard (M) are looking for a new member as our actual flat-mate moves out. As we are two guys and one Lady right now, we would prefer female applicants because we dont want to become some weired Big-bang-theory-guys only shared flat. We sometimes have a Shared-Flat Dinner (once every second month or so) but that is not a must.
The room to let is a small sized room in a big flat (159 sqm). The room is south side which means its very bright and sunny. It hat a wooden floor and has a bed, a cupboard and some drawers. If you bring your own furniture or want to replace anything with your own stuff, that's fine too of course.
Please note there will be an additional monthly fee for
[!] the cleaning lady 40,- EURO (basic vacuum cleaning bath and kitchen), alternatively you may do the weekly cleaning yourself, then, depending on how often you are doing this you might even get a bit of money out of it.
The station for the suburban train to the city is 4 minutes by foot away, the bus station (to the airport) is 2 minutes.
We have a clean the stove after usage and a 'kitchen has to be clean before sleeping' rule. It's a strict non-smoking environment.
Right now we had a Pipe-Replacement in the house, the work is over, but the walls in the bathroom and guest toilet are not covered with tiles yet. This issue will be solved soon, but be aware that the bathrooms will look nicer again soon in case of visiting / videoconferencing.

The Flat is located in Frankfurt Höchst (west of Frankfurt). From the Door to the suburban train station it's a 4 minute walk. You have S1 and S2 goint from höchst to the main station an through all the central stains in Frankfurt. There is a train every 10 - 20 minutes during rush hour more often. To the main station the train needs 7 (3 stops) to the city center 10/11 minutes). Fr.-Sa. the tarin goes all night, workdays the last train is a bit after 1 am.
You have a very good connction to the aiport too (direct bus) ever half an hour (rushhr 15 mins). To the university main campus it's about 20 minutes.
Die Wohnung befindet sich in Frankfurt a. M. Höchst. Das ist einer der westlichen Stadtteile.
Von der Haustür aus zur S-Bahn station Höchst sind es vier Minuten. Die S-Bahnen (S1 und S2) fahren mindestens alle 10 - 20 Minuten (im Wechsel) während des 'Berufverkehrs' aber wesentlich häufiger.
Zum Hauptbahnhof sind es ca. 7 minuten, zur Hauptwache unter 15.
Die Verbindungen in die Stadtmitte und zum Bockenheimer Campus sind hervorragend (< 20 Minuten).
Besonders gut ist die Verbindung auch zum Flughafen. Hier gibtes den 58ger Bus, der direkt zum Terminal 1 des Flughafens fährt (mindestens alle 30 Minuten, teilweise auch alle 15 Minuten)
We have certain standards in hygiene. Not like super neat, but we don't want a mess in the kitchen for example. There is a 'clean up before you go to bed' rule. So that the one that enters the kitchen first in the morning has a pleasant start in the day. Social life: sometimes we don't see each other for a week (differnet schedules) sometimes we sit together an chat. Sometimes one does the cooking and shares, once in a while we prepare a planned meal, where all the flat members contribute (every three months or so...). If you consider your communication skills as 'normal' it should work out ...
Wir hoffen auf gewisse Ordnungsstandards, sind nicht spiessig, wollen aber morgens nicht in einer Küche mit Massen an ungespültem Geschirr frühstücken. Wir sind eine Zweck WG und haben keine 'Sozilaisierungspflicht' sind aber auch einem 'Schwätzchen' ab und an nicht abgeneigt. Wenn Du Deine Kommunikationsgewohnheiten als 'normal' bezeichnen würdest, passt es schon!
It's strictly non-smoking! Out of experience we do not recommend to apply for the flat even if you are a non-frequent smoker.
Sometime there are friends of the flat members staying for some days.
Wir sind ein strikter Nichtrauherhaushalt!
Aufgrund gemachter Erfahrungen halten es nicht für sinnvoll, wenn sich ein/e Raucher/in bei und bewirbt.
Ab und an übernachten auch mal Freunde und Bekannte bei uns.
