WG-Zimmer - 21m² - Vollmöbliert - Bergerstraße (Shared flat room - 21 sq.m. - fully furnished - best area)

Die Wohnung liegt fast direkt auf der Station Merianplatz U4. In weniger als 5 Minuten ist man aus dem Bett an die U-Bahnstation gelaufen wenn es sein muss. Auch U6/U7 sind mit der Station Zoo in unter 10 min erreichbar. Das selbe gilt für die S-Bahnstation Ostendstraße.
In unter 10 Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß außerdem 2 Pennys, Rewe (20 min. bis Rewe City, geöffnet bis 23:30 und Aldi) und dutzende Bars, Restaurants und Shops auf Bergerstraße und Sandweg. Auch am Main oder auf der Zeil ist man in nur 20 Minuten Spaziergang.
Für die, die neu in Frankfurt sind: Berger Straße/Bornheim ist eine der besten Gegenden in Frankfurt für Junge Akademiker und Professionals und vergleichbar mit einer Mischung Friedrichshein/Kreuzberg/Prenzberg in Berlin oder Schwabing in München.

The apartment is almost on the metro station Merianplatz U4. You can reach the station in less than 5 minutes by foot. The stations U6/U7 Zoo and S-bahn Ostenstraße are within a 10 min radius by foot. Also within a 10 min radius are 2 Penny markets, a Rewe (20 min by foot to a Rewe City which is open until 23:30) market and docents of shops, bars and restaurants on Bergerstraße and Sandweg.
You also need less than 20 minutes to reach the Main river or the Zeil.
For those of you new to Frankfurt: Berger Straße/Bornheim is one of the best areas for young academics and professionals in Frankfurt and comes with plenty of nice shops/bars/restaurants and a vibrant young community, comparable with Friedrichshein/Kreuzberg/Prenzberg in Berlin or Schwabing in Munich.

Aktuell leben in der WG Levin und Regina. Beide sind in Frankfurt berufstätig. Regina hat im Bereich Consumer Goods gearbeitet und arbeitet nun als Trainee für eine Marketingfirma. Levin zieht zum 01.04 aus und ein(e weiterer Mitbewohner/in wird aktuell bereits gesucht.
Die WG hat einen recht internationalen Spirit und da z.B. Regina ursprünglich aus Taiwan kommt wird mal Deutsch mal Englisch gesprochen.
Alle Mitbewohner sind sehr offen und gesellig und es wird gerne auch mal zusammen gekocht, ein Weinchen getrunken oder Sonntags gebruncht. Allgemein sind gemeinsame Aktivitäten kein Muss aber gerne gesehen.
Ansonsten gab es in der WG bisher immer eine "Open Door" Mentalität. Die Privatsphäre der Mitbewohner wird respektiert aber man kann immer klopfen und gemeinsam etwas machen oder hat einfach die Tür offen wenn gerade nichts wichtiges ist und auch sonst sind alle Mitbewohner immer hilfsbereit und ansprechbar wenn es irgendwelche Probleme gibt.

Currently, there are two people living in the apartment: Regina and Levin. Both are working in Frankfurt. Regina has been working in the Consumer Goods sector in the past and now works for a marketing company.
Since the apartment community has an international spirit (all flatmates so far have worked or studied internationally or are from abroad) it is not uncommon to speak English in the apartment. All people living in the apartment are open and very social. cooking together, haven apartment activities, drinking a glass of wine together, or having a brunch on Sundays is quite common. Going out together is not a requirement, but definitely an option.
Overall, the apartment has an "Open Door" mentality and although the privacy of room mates has to be respected, it is normal to e.g. leave a door open so others can come over and have a chat or simply to have a more social feeling. All flat mates are open and helpful so it is always possible to reach out to them or even former members of the "Herder community" when help or advice is needed.
