Your room has 14 m² and will be furnished with a bed, a desk including a chair as well as a closet or drawer to store your belongings. You are welcome to decorate the room to your liking and make it suite your needs.
The large window looks out onto Glauburgstrase with cafés and the beautiful houses across the street.
The rent of your room includes all expenses meaning a rental fee for the furniture, electricity, heating and Internet.
About the apartment
It's an apartment with three rooms and a larger kitchen which is simultaneously the living room/common area. There won't be a washing machine most likely due to limited space but there is a laundromat around the corner. The whole flat is currently empty since I will move in on the first of october and then furnish the entire flat within the first days. Which means that I will paint the rooms and do small renovations meaning the apartment will be in a very good shape when you move in ;). However this also means there is no possibility to see the room/or the flat before the 28th of September. I am getting the keys in that day and you could come over to see the room :).
About the area
The area is very popular for young people and really close to the city center. All major attractions are within walking distance. To get to the city center you can either walk about 15 minutes through a pretty residential area passing several nice cafés and restaurants or you can hope on the subway (U-Bahn), which is 2 minutes from the apartment. Frankfurt main station is on the same subway line and can be reached within 10 minutes.
The Westend Campus is only about 5 minutes away via bike or
There are three supermarkets just around the corner and a post office within the building.
The street is rather quite and there is little traffic relative to the popularity of the area.
About myself/
I am studying physical geography in my final master semester and currently writing my master thesis. I cook a lot and also fairly good, I would say 😅. I enjoy doing yoga and cycling as well as going for a hike in the near by Taunus. Of course I go out for drinks on the weekend (or during the week ;) ). I am always up to try new things and am very open minded. I would be happy to show you around the city and also the area surrounding frankfurt. I grew up close by and have lived in frankfurt for a couple of years now. So you would have an experienced guide by your side :).
What you should also know/keep in mind
The 3rd flatmate hasn't yet been found so I can't tell you anything about the 3rd person living with us. Generally I would like to create an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and we live our lifes rather with then beside each other. This obviously doesn't mean that you would have to spend all your free time with me and/or the future 3rd flatmate but I would really appreciate it if we could figure out a good balance.
