The room is bright and has a fantastic skyline view. There is also a wardrobe with a large mirror that is super handy. The floor is wooden.
I'm staying in the flat until September. The current contract ends then but you are free to stay for longer.
The flat is super bright and feels quite large which makes working from home quite a pleasure.
The flat is in a larger building with 14 stories right behind the Universitätsklinikum, between Sachsenhausen and Niederrad. The closest tram stations are Universitätsklinikum and Blutspendedienst (8 minutes walk). The next S-Bahn station is Stresemannalle (15 minutes walk) and the closest bus station is Humperdinckstraße (6 minutes walk).
Usually, you would need between 15 and 20 minutes to get to Hauptbahnhof and about the same to Südbahnhof.
The area is super quiet with trees everywhere and various little forests and parks and the Main river are right around the corner.
I am a journalist at the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. I've lived in shared flats all around the world (Germany, Ghana, Korea, Scotland, US) and it always ended up being a fantastic experience.
I keep the flat clean and nice. I cook sometimes, got into jigsaws and running and rediscovered literature thanks to the lockdown. In less strange times, I spend most of my free time outside meeting people or playing football. And I usually travel quite a bit for work and leisure.
