As someone who spent 5 years in beautiful Freiburg and changed apartments 4 times, this room is my favorite. It’s 18 sqm, has its own private winter garden/balcony, and it is right next to one of the bathrooms which you’ll be sharing with only Vlad, and it is the furthest room to the kitchen so whenever you want, you can have your silence 😌 😌
The flat is located at Elisabeth-Hettich-Straße, has many free parking spots around and a private parking garage for residents (but I can’t guarantee that you’ll get a space there, there is a waiting list). There are two indoor and one outdoor bicycle storage rooms. We have Nahkauf, Norma, a pharmacy and many restaurants around approximately 5-10 min by foot. Seepark is 15, Dreisam is only 10 min away. However the room is looking at a highway which didn’t give me problems because the windows have pretty good insulation. And after the spring time, it’s not really possible to see the road because of the trees 🌲
-Stefan is the oldest roommate. He is not quite often around because of a computer club he spends most of his time.
-Julian is studying logistics and currently he is interested in DJing.
-Vlad is the roommate you’ll be sharing the bathroom with and he is working at a bar.
-We do not have a strict cleaning plan in general however it is always nice to leave the place you use clean after you. Taking the trash out voluntary, because it’s not a big deal to us to take trash out when we go somewhere.
-But I have a weekly cleaning plan for the bathroom I use with Vlad. Keeping it is up to you 🧹
-Since I won’t be working at Freiburg anymore, I decided to give up this beautiful room.
-About the furniture, I prefer to leave them here. So it’d be great for someone who is in need of a furnished room (Sonstige kosten: 400euros for bed-mattress-desk-chair-sofa-wardrobe-lamps-coffee tables-TV-many pots and plants).
-There is also this cost for transfering the contract to the new tenant from Stoll&Partner. When I moved in 3 years ago, I paid 110euros. I expect that they increased this cost a little bit, you'll get a bill from them and pay it directly there.
