For our beloved shared flat, we are looking for new student flatmates who would like to move in with us from August/September and enrich our house! The exact date of moving in is optional. The opportunity to move in from September 1 or early August.
Because of the regulation of SWFR ( Studentwerk), the new flatmate must be German and Female. The contract will be long-term under the restrictions of SWFR.
The room is about 23 m2 and furnished. Best you just look at it at a meeting 😊. 2/3 rooms will be free, i.e., there will also be a bit of choice :)
Both are the same size; the only difference is the view of the mountains.
Currently, we live with seven people in total. The WG is in the Händelstrasse SWFR Wohnheim. The Wohnheim has a big garden, music room, workshop, bar (in other buildings, the noise is not a problem), bike workshop, etc.
You can reach the tram station (line 4) within walking distance (3 minutes). You can also go shopping in 3-5 minutes at Aldi, Lidl and in 7 minutes at Alnatura, DM, Edeka, or Kaufland. It takes 15 minutes by bike to the university facilities, such as the UB or the KGs. And that Herden is a beautiful district does not need to be mentioned... (Or just yet 😉).
Close to the Wohnheim is located the Biology Faculty and the beautiful mountains, the perfect place to be in touch with nature but not too far from the city.
We are 7 open-minded people who live together in a family-like and multicultural atmosphere. All the flatmates study something different (Economy, Music, Sustainability, and Physiotherapy). WG has everything a shared apartment needs ( kitchen, bathroom, hallway, shower, living room, and dining room). A lovingly maintained garden, bike shed, and washing machines are available in the building. With so many roommates, there is always someone to hang out with, cook, play sports, or have a deep conversation over a cold beer and wine. But of course, if you need peace and quiet, you can always retreat to your room.
We also cook together spontaneously - because eating together is just fun 😊. That's why we are looking for interested people who share this enthusiasm with us. Don't worry, you don't have to be a professional chef, but you should enjoy sharing!
If you're up for some great fellowship, exceptional action, and fun, get in touch, we're happy to meet you!!! A small but important fact: You should be a student.
Since we have to get all the dates under one hat and then organize a small get-together to get to know each other, we ask you for some patience. If you don't hear back immediately, it doesn't mean we are uninterested!!!
With such a large WG, the organization sometimes takes a little longer to do justice to such a beautiful thing as your new move ... 😊 Please ensure you can speak and understand English because we speak English in our organizational matters.
Because it is an international WG, we speak fluent German/ English/ Spanish, and some French and Italian. It is a really multicultural place. For sure, the common language is always English.
We are looking forward to your individual and meaningful message in English. Please write us in detail about what brings you to us, how, where, when, why, and much more. Please tell us your favorite animal and your favorite flower. If you can imagine actively participating in a large shared flat, we are interested as well as what makes you unique as a person and how you imagine an extraordinary living together :)
