English below
Halli hallo,
Deutsch oben
Hey,
I am moving out of Freiburg on the first of August, so my room is free.
Quick description of the room:
The flatshare is composed of 6 person, with a kitchen and a bathroom functional, although sometimes crowded and messy but still very functional, and we have a machine to wash the clothes. It’s a bit broken as the door can only be opened with a spoon, but it works perfectly (it has gulped one or two socks tho :‘( .
Anyway the total rent is 516€, the landlord is sympathetic, although you should pay the rent in time (obviously). My room is 20 square meters, and it was furnished with only the cupboard. I would like to sell my furniture to you, potential future tenant. My furniture consist of:
- A matress for two people
- A shelf
- An Ikea cube
- A table
- A chair without the back
- A drying rack
- A small paperwaste stuff from IKEA
It’s all for the price of 150€.
There is no Putzplan, and so that’s why I guess our common parts may get a bit messy but I am not sure a Putzplan would help. Anyway.
Location:
The room in the apartment lies in Landwasser which may indeed be far for Freiburg, but it’s close to the tramway and the S-Bahn which brings you quickly to the city-center. And maybe elsewhere but I haven’t tried that.
There is also a REWE very nearby, but if you don’t want to sell your kidney to afford always buying groceries, Lidl and Aldi are not too far with a bike.
Your flatpeople:
They go by the name of Audrey, David, Evie, Katarina and Sven. Audrey, Evie and Katarina also went through the phase of not being able to read a text in German, so it’s a pretty international flatshare. Now everyone speaks decent German, but I guess our flatshare is like Berlin, there is German and English being spoken, and David speaks very little English anyway, so you would have to learn a bit of German to speak with him.
They are all nice, and since our landlord chose the most of us (except Evie), the flatshare wasn’t designed to be all fun and games, but we speak to each other, and I haven’t had any problem with any of them. It’s also not really a student-flatshare, but more a „people are working and learning to adult flatshare“.
Finally:
I (and my flatmates maybe) will read your answers next week (probably, maybe we’ll take more time) and we’ll come back to you to give you an answer next weekend, so that we can do visit the week after.
I will probably mark this as „already given“, even though it’s not, I just don’t want to be flooded by answers.
It's also possible to rent the place for a shorter period, so like 3months or so.
Cheers :)
