Es handelt sich um eine internationale 8er-WG im Stadtteil Mooswald. Aktuell sind aber nur 7 der 8 Zimmer bewohnt, da eines der Zimmer gerade renoviert wird. Demnächst kommt neben Dir dann also entsprechend noch eine weitere Person dazu. Da ich im Laufe dieses Monats ausziehen werde, wird mein aktuelles Zimmer spätestens ab Anfang März frei. Über Genaueres könnten wir uns ja dann nochmal unterhalten.
Das Zimmer, in welchem Du künftig leben könntest, liegt im Obergeschoss des Hauses, ist ungefähr 14 qm groß, mehr oder weniger rechteckig geschnitten und hat an der nord-west-Wand eine Dachschräge ab halber Höhe. Vor der Zimmertür ist nochmal ein ca. 4 qm großer Bereich, der Dir zur freien Verfügung steht (ich habe dort aktuell bzw. einen mini-Kühlschrank, mein Putz-Zeug und ein kleines Schuh-Regal stehen).
Nach Absprache könnten ggf. einige meiner aktuellen Möbel übernommen werden.

The “international WG” is located in Mooswald (Freiburg) and is a 8-room shared flat. However, only 7 of the 8 rooms are currently occupied, as one of the rooms is currently being renovated. Thus, another person will be joining us soon as well. As I will be moving out later this month, my current room will be available from the beginning of March at the latest. We could talk about the details once we meet.
The room you could live in is on the first floor of the house and is about 14 square meters in size. It has a more or less rectangular shape and has a sloping roof halfway up the north-west wall. In front of the room door is another 4 square meter area that is at your free disposal (I currently have a mini fridge, my cleaning stuff and a small shoe rack there).
If you would like to you might be able to take some of my current furniture. We could talk about that again later :)
Die WG befindet sich im Freiburger Stadtteil Mooswald. Man ist auf der einen Seite innerhalb weniger Minuten im Wald und gleichzeitig bietet die Wohngegend aber auch viele Möglichkeiten: Mit dem Fahrrad ist man in ca. 5 min am Seepark und ebenfalls in 5 min bspw. beim Lidl. Auf dem Weg dahin befinden sich aber auch mehrere Bäckereien, Lokalitäten, eine Eisdiele und vieles mehr. Auch die nächste Bushaltestelle ist in 5 min gemütlich zu Fuß erreichbar.
In die Innenstadt (UB) schafft man es in ca. 15-20 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad - je nachdem wie schnell man fährt und ob die Ampeln einem wohl gesinnt sind :)

The shared flat is located in the Mooswald district of Freiburg. On the one hand you are in the forest within a few minutes and on the other hand the residential area offers many possibilities: You can be at the Seepark in about 5 minutes by bike and also at Lidl in 5 minutes, for example. There are also several bakeries, restaurants, an ice cream place and much more along the way. The nearest bus stop is also just a 5-minute walk away.
The city center (university library) can be reached in about 15-20 minutes by bike - depending on how fast you ride your bike :)
Die Vorstellung der WG-Bewohner möchte ich Euch natürlich nicht vorenthalten:
- Alina: “Mein Name ist Alina, ich bin 19 Jahre alt und vor kurzem nach Freiburg gezogen. Momentan bereite ich mich auf das Studium EMP (Elementare Musikpädagogik) vor, gehe viel spazieren/joggen, mache Yoga und tanze gerne und viel. Ich freue mich dich kennenzulernen :)”
- Sai: “Mein Name ist Sai und ich bin 25 Jahre alt. Ich bin Masterstudent und schreibe gerade meine Abschlussarbeit bei Fraunhofer. Meine Hobbys sind Kochen, Wandern und Filme gucken. Am Wochenende unternehme ich gerne etwas mit meinen Mitbewohnern. Ich bin offen für kulturellen Austausch und alle lustigen Aktivitäten. Ich freue mich darauf, Dich kennen zu lernen.”
- Außerdem leben im Haus noch Darshak (er arbeitet genauso wie Sai gerade a seiner Masterarbeit), Hakim (er ist berufstätig und arbeitet auch häufig in Nachtschichten) und Mazen. Gerade neu eingezogen ist außerdem Jilong.
Das WG-Leben ist sehr entspannt. Man trifft sich häufig Abends in der Küche, gelegentlich wird auch spontan mal gemeinsam gekocht oder ein Filmabend veranstaltet. Persönlich fand ich es immer sehr spannend auch essen aus anderen Kulturen zu probieren - gerade die indische Küche habe ich in der WG sehr zu schätzen gelernt. Im Sommer gehen wir als WG auch ganz gerne mal Wandern oder machen andere gemeinsame Ausflüge - natürlich alles auf lockerer, ungezwungener Basis (bisher waren wir leider noch nie vollzählig bei einer WG-Aktion, da wir alle durch die Uni und Arbeit einen sehr unterschiedlichen Rhythmus haben. Also kein Stress wenn es mal nicht klappen sollte...).

- Alina: "My name is Alina, I'm 19 years old and recently moved to Freiburg. I'm currently preparing to study EMP (Elementary Music Pedagogy), I go walking/jogging a lot, do yoga and like to dance. I look forward to getting to know you :)"
- Sai: "My name is Sai and I am 25 years old. I am a Master's student and am currently writing my thesis at Fraunhofer. My hobbies are cooking, hiking and watching movies. At the weekend I like to do things with my flatmates. I am open to cultural exchange and all fun activities. I look forward to getting to know you."
- Also living in the house are Darshak (who, like Sai, is currently working on his Master's thesis), Hakim (who has a job and often works night shifts) and Mazen. Jilong has also just moved in.
The life in the WG is very relaxed. We often meet in the kitchen in the evenings, and occasionally we spontaneously cook together or have a movie night. Personally, I've always found it very exciting to try food from other cultures - I've come to really appreciate Indian cuisine in particular. In summer, we also like to go hiking or go on other excursions together - all on a relaxed, informal basis, of course (unfortunately we've never been together as a whole group yet, as we all have very different rhythms due to university and work. So no stress if things don't work out sometimes...).
