This is a two bedroom WG that has a kitchen, a bathroom, a pantry "abstellkamer," a shared balcony, and a cellar. The building also includes bike storage, inside and outside, plus a wash room that includes coin operated washer and dryer.
This particular WG is located on the backside of the building. The balcony looks over a small grass yard with a row of trees and bushes. This gives a nice sense of privacy and nature in the center of the city. It gives the balcony an occasional hedgehog and plenty of birds. Both bedrooms have a door that lead to the balcony.
The rooms include a small portion of offset wall that is perfect for dressers and schrank. The wall with the door leading to the balcony has a large window that opens. There is a heizungskoerper in each room also.
The kitchen has a small refrigerator. It also has a 4 burner electric stove with an oven. There are not a large amount of cabinets in the kitchen, but the pantry "abstellkamer" makes up for that.
This WG is located off of Talstr, behind Treff 3000. It is a quick 3 min walk to the #1 Line and the Dreisam is right on the other side of street. The city center, Schlossberg, and Sternwald are all within walking distance. The Innenhof runs perpendicular to the main streets inside a wall off taller buildings. It is pedestrian and bike friendly.
I am an American working in Freiburg and I am currently learning German as a second language. I boulder very often and use my time at home for relaxation. I love to use the space for a healthy lifestyle. I personally like to cook often and do my best to keep the kitchen clean and ready for the next meal.
I really appreciate someone who is aware and cares about the quiet times of the day, ie. early morning and late nights. Parties happen; and, are welcome, but the sleep needed to deal with the daily grind of life is necessary. In short, the WG is easy going and drama free. Keep it clean, cool, and creative. Life is too short to be so serious.
Move in date is flexible. You can move in earlier at a pro-rated amount. Students are welcome.
