Platz für Bücher und Unimaterialien bietet ein großes Regal. Der 1.40 lange Schreibtisch direkt vor dem Fenster ist
optimal zum Lernen, Hausarbeiten schreiben oder einfach den herrlichen Blick auf den Schwarzwald zu genießen. Zudem findet man noch genug Platz, um Yoga zu machen oder Musik und Sportgeräte unterzubringen.
Nicht zu vergessen ist das eigene Waschbecken mit Ablagemöglichkeit und
Spiegel – super praktisch.

Das Zimmer ist im Händelwohnheim des SWFR Freiburgs. Insgesamt wohnen
hier circa 350 Studierende. Umgeben ist das Händel von tollen Villen und
Häusern im schnuckeligen Herdern. Im unweit entfernten alten Ortskern
findet man vom Fahrradladen, über Bioladen, einer Eisdiele, einer
Dinkelbäckerei, Apotheke .... alles Wichtige in typisch Freiburger
Atmosphäre.
1 km entfernt vom Händel beginnt schon der Wald und man kommt über tolle
Wege auf den Roßkopf oder zur Zähringer Burg – sei es mit dem Fahrrad
oder zu Fuß.
800 m entfernt liegen die Tramhaltestellen Okenstraße (Linie 4) und
Hornusstraße (Linie 2), mit welchen man in weniger als 10 min in der
Innenstadt oder am Uniklinikum ist.

The room is in the Händelwohnheim of the SWFR Freiburg. Total living here about 350 students. The Handel is surrounded by great villas and Houses in cute Herdern. In the nearby old town centre can be found from the bicycle shop, over health food store, an ice cream parlor, a Spelt bakery, pharmacy.... everything important in typical Freiburger Atmosphere.
1km away from Handel the forest begins and you come across great Paths to the Roßkopf or to Zähringer Castle – be it by bike or on foot.
800 m away are the tram stops Okenstraße (line 4) and Hornusstraße (line 2), with which you can reach the Hornusstraße in less than 10 minutes city center or at the University Hospital.
Unsere 9er WG sieht jedes Semester ein bisschen anders aus. Wir haben nämlich 3 internationale Zimmer, welche pro Semester vergeben werden.
Für die anderen müssen wir alle paar Semester die Ärmel hochkrempeln und selbst auswählen. Wir suchen einen Mitbewohner der ab dem 1.März bei uns in die WG zieht.
In den anderen Zimmern wohnen Laura (Medizin), Jasper (Mathe BS) Mattis (Mathe BS), Hannah ( Bio BS), Amelie (Medizin), Alex (Jura). Wir führen ein sehr entspanntes Zusammenleben. Bei Lust und Laune wird zusammen gekocht, gegessen, Serien geschaut oder Zeitung gelesen. (Kurz um: Wir sind keine Zweck-WG!) Ansonsten kann man sich auch gut zurück ziehen und seine Ruhe genießen. Es ist also eine optimale Mischung von Gesellschaft und Ruhe.
Das Händel hat zudem einen tollen Garten mit Beet und Volleyballplatz, in dem wir zusammen chillen oder grillen und den Freiburger Sommer genießen.

Our 9-person shared flat looks a little different every semester. We have 3 international rooms, which are allocated each semester.
For the others, we have to roll up our sleeves every few semesters and choose them ourselves. We are looking for a roommate who will move into our shared flat from March 1st.
Laura (Medicine), Jasper (Math BS), Mattis (Math BS), Hannah (Bio BS), Amelie (Medicine), Alex (Law) live in the other rooms. We live together in a very relaxed atmosphere. Whenever we feel like it, we cook, eat, watch series or read the newspaper together. (In short: we're not a functional flat share!) Apart from that, you can also withdraw and enjoy some peace and quiet. So it's an ideal mix of company and peace and quiet.
The Händel also has a great garden with a flower bed and volleyball court, where we can chill out together or have a barbecue and enjoy the Freiburg summer.
