American Graduate Student In Physics In Need of an Apartment for the Winter Semester

Hello,

I am a Bulgarian-American student who recently obtained bachelor's degrees in physics and mathematics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and will be continuing my education at LMU Munich. Therefore, I will need a room to live in. I will be happy as long as the dwelling is reasonably well maintained, close to public transit, and in a house or apartment shared with friendly and passionate people. This is a re-post of my request for a room in Munich. I am just as will to look for a room in Garching, due to its proximity to some of the key research centers in Munich.

I will be obtaining my masters in physics and hope to work in a research lab and eventually apply for a doctorate in my field. I've been involved with the ATLAS collaboration at CERN, and hope to continue working in particle physics in the future.

Although I've lived in the United States nearly my entire life, I am a native speaker in both English and Bulgarian and I'm in the process of attaining some fluency in German. Although I have much to learn, I've taken three semesters of German at the University of Massachusetts and I really look forward to improving my German once in Munich.

My hobbies and Interests:

Besides being passionate about all things science, I love exploring and culture - I look forward to being in a new city and seeing everything it has to offer, whether it be concerts, bars and nightclubs, or historic sites and museums.

On my down time I also enjoy sci-fi, video games, and playing piano.
