Dear future flat mate,
I am offering you today a beautiful 3 rooms flat(80 m²) to be shared by 2, you and me. Therefore, you will have even much more space than the 20 m² of your room. Your room is located in the ground floor with view in the garden. The House and therefore your room are very calm. The room is basically a rectangle with straight and high walls, that will allow you to put all your stuff without any problems.
Besides your room, there is a very nice living room with TV and Audio equipment as well as a small mini bar and space for more than 8 people. A nice evening with friends at home is therefore always possible.
The best place to be is the kitchen, which is fully stacked with all necessary stuff and enough space to prepare/eat a good meal. In the summer, it is possible to sit and grill in the garden. The bathroom has a shower and a bath tub.
There is little missing in our flat besides a new flat mate.
The flat is located near the Schwanenteich and next to the Philosophenwald. The Strandbar, jogging in the park / forest or the swimming pool is just a few minutes away.
To the city center (Marktplatz), you will walk max. 10 Minutes, the THM and the WIWI Campus is just 600 meters and the Uni-library is about 1,2 KM away. There are several busses that drive day and night just a few hundred meters from the flat, so every location can be reached in short time. Also, Gießen is small, and with a bike you can reach every destination in less than 15 minutes.
The neighbors are nice and quiet but will also not complain if there is a party once in a while. The garden is nice to sit and to relax.
There is basically just me in the flat. I am 29 years old, I finished my university 2 years ago and now I am working. I like to be at home to watch a good movie but also I like to meet with friend to play sport or to meet for a beer.
The flat is not cheap, but therefore you will get a lot of space and comfort! Compared to your own flat, it will be cheap. Especially if you come to Gießen to make your PHD for just a few years, you will find everything prepared here and you will not need to buy / bring anything besides stuff for your room.
Your room is free, so please don´t hesitate to look at the flat and to get your own impression. The room can be rent to any future date as long as it is free.
I am German and speak German, English and a bit Russian. I am writing in English because I know that there are many PHD or Postdoc Students in Gießen, searching a place to stay outside of the dorm. If you work, that would be a good match, but the same if you are still studying. I am open to Germans and to international students.
I am looking for someone who is older than 24 and has calmed down already a bit. I am not a cleaning fetishist, but I think that the flat should always be held in a decent condition.
