We are subletting a room for two months this summer. We are very flexible, if you only want to stay here for three weeks, contact us anyways.
We are a shared flat consisting of 4-5 people, far beyond freshman's year, gliding between work and studying or the rest of the world, between cooking together or living here nearly by oneself, between sports, theatre, yoga and subversion.
We speak mostly english and german.
The room that you would rent is Li's (MA choreography and performance) but she will only be moving in by October, so there won't be a lot of furniture in the room yet. It is a bit spartanic but if you need some extra storage space there is another shelf in another room, that you could easily get for that time.
The WG is very central to Gießen, close to the main building of the University, the famous Kiosk Marbobo, some cafes, bars and bakeries.
The citycenter, the outdoor swimmingpool and campus buildings in general ae reachable in a 5-15 min drive with a bike.
The flat is in the second floor of a nice building with friendly neighbors. There is no elivator, unfortunately. We can use the garden and grill or sit in our sunny kitchen and have breakfast together.
The room is ideal for summer, since it is facing North. It is also facing a calm street. There is no smoking permitted in the room...
For these two month in the summer our WG won't be so bussy as during other times of the year. There will be Marie (PHD student of cultur- and literature studies) and Liesa (MA theatre studies) coming in and out of holidays and project (one of us might be gone for two or three weeks during that time). The third room in the WG is shared by Mil and Phil but they only come by 3-5 times a month anyways, so the situationen would realy depend on who is in the flat at which time. If we are togehter, we like to talk in the kitchen, maybe go out together, have breakfast or dinner, watch movies, do some vegan/vegetarian bbq, go to the swimmingpool etc. Sometimes we also like to go to Frankfurt to see performances and so on... Everything is very flexible.
