In unserer 6er WG im schönsten Altbau Gießens ist vom 04.08. bis ca 15.09. (evt. auch länger) ein Zimmer zur Zwischenmiete frei.
Zentral gelegen zwischen Bahnhof und Marktplatz ist so ziemlich alles in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen.
Unsere Wohnung hat viel Charakter, ein original "Frankfurter Bad", eine separate Toilette, großes Wohn/Esszimmer, Balkon und eine große Küche mit Spül- und Waschmaschine. Da unsere Wohnung schon seit Ewigkeiten eine WG ist, findest du hier alles, was du so brauchen kannst. Dazu muss man vielleicht noch sagen, dass es zwar eine schöne Altbauwohnung ist, in der man sich direkt wohlfühlt, aber auch schon länger nicht mehr renoviert wurde, was einem aber auch viel Raum für Umgestaltung und Basteleien lässt!
Das Zimmer ist 13,5 qm groß und verfügt über ein eingebautes Hochbett, wo neben einer großen Matratze auch noch mehr Platz ist, wodurch sich die Nutzfläche um einiges vergrößert.
Aufgrund der hohen Decken ist sowohl der Raum darunter als auch der Bettbereich sehr großzügig nutzbar. Das Zimmer hat ein Fenster mit Blick auf den Innenhof und sogar auf ein bisschen grün, wodurch das Zimmer schön ruhig ist.
Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und weitläufig, daher kannst du jederzeit im Zimmer deine Ruhe haben, selbst wenn Leute im Wohnzimmer etwas lauter sein sollten.

In our shared flat for 6 people in the most beautiful old buildig in Gießen one room is free from 04th of august until around mid to end of september.
Centrally located between the train station and the market square, you can reach pretty much everything in a few minutes.
Our apartment has a lot of character, an original "Frankfurter Bad", a separate toilet, large living/dining room, balcony and a large kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Since our apartment has been a WG for ages, you will find everything you need here. In addition, we must perhaps say that it is a beautiful old building apartment in which you feel immediately comfortable, but also has not been renovated for a long time.
The room is 13.5 square meters and has a built-in loft bed, where, in addition to a large mattress, there is also more space, which increases the usable area by quite a bit.
Due to the high ceilings, both the space underneath and the bed area is very spacious. The room has a window with view on the courtyard and even some trees.
The apartment is very large and spacious, so your room is still very quiet, even if people in the living room should be loud.

Das Gebäude liegt in der Bahnhofstraße/Westanlage und somit sehr zentral. Die Straße vor dem Haus ist leider relativ befahren, aber im 2. OG geht es lärmtechnisch auf jeden Fall klar!
Nur einige Minuten Fußweg zum Bahnhof oder Marktplatz und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie Aldi, Tegut, Rewe oder Penny sind auch um die Ecke. Außerdem ist auch ein Kino ein paar Häuser weiter, die Lahn ist direkt um die Ecke und falls man mal keine Lust auf kochen hat, gibt es auch verschiedenste Imbissbuden und Restaurants und auch einen Späti in Laufweite.
Mit dem Rad sind alle Bereiche des universitären Lebens schnell erreicht und auch mehr oder weniger alle anderen Bereiche Gießens.

Die Wohnung teilst Du dir mit 5 anderen lieben Menschen. Das WG Leben würden wir als locker, herzlich und spontan bezeichnen und wir legen Wert auf ein gemeinschaftliches, offenes und respektvolles Miteinander. Zur Zeit sprechen wir Deutsch und Englisch miteinander, je nachdem wer grade anwesend ist.
In unserem gemütlichen Wohnzimmer sitzen wir gerne mal auf einen Kaffee oder Bier zusammen, schauen gemeinsam Filme oder gehen irgendwo was trinken, wenn es sich ergibt und wer Bock drauf hat.
Wir haben einen rotierenden Putzplan und eine WG-Kasse, von der so die Standardsachen wie Öl, Nudeln, Kaffee, etc. bezahlt und geteilt werden. Derzeit passiert es auch oft, dass wir für mehr als nur uns selbst kochen und eigentlich immer Essen auf dem Herd steht, von dem man sich nehmen kann.

You share the apartment with 5 other lovely people. We would describe the WG life as relaxed, warm and spontaneous and we appreciate a communicative, open and respectful togetherness.
At the moment we speak German and English with each other, depending on who is present.
In our cozy living room we like to sit together for a coffee or a beer, watch movies together or go out for a drink if it comes up.
We have a rotating cleaning schedule and a WG cash box, from which the standard things like oil, pasta, coffee, etc. are paid and shared. Currently it also often happens that we cook for more than just ourselves and actually there is always food on the stove to take from.
