Hi and welcome to my ad! ;)
My name is Ralph and I’m currently doing my teaching studies in Sports and English for high school education. My flat mate is called Mojca and she’s been to Germany for an Erasmus exchange which ends now. It turned out that her attendance was very helpful, because I could improve my crappy English a bit and she received help to facilitate her research on my native language. What I’m looking for right now, is someone who has something to do with the English language in general to keep this learning process going (No worries, it’ll take you no time at all. I just wanna speak English once in a while).
In fact, the less German you speak the better the chances are for you to get the offer at hand.
Lukas, my second flat mate, is studying Biology and he’ll stay. Living with him is as uncomplicated as flat-sharing can be for he’s polite, clean and shows the right sense of responsibility.
The flat is renovated and in the center of Gießen (Gnauthstraße). The room itself has two big windows and a balcony with a good sight. It includes furniture like a bed, blanket, pillow, sheet, cover, desk, chair, wardrobe, curtains, clock and a map.
In any case, it’s always best to come ‘round and get yourself convinced of this lovely little place to be! For my incoming friends from abroad, you’re welcome to visit me online and make your own opinion of the flat as good as I can show you digitally.
What does living together look like at our site?
It varies, because each person is different and new roommates come here almost every 6 or 12 months. Here’s a top list of the last activities that took place when everyone was ready with their learning and exams.
- Climbing, Wakeboarding, more fun sports
- Cinema
- Have a drink in a bar (personally I don’t drink alcohol)
- Playing guitar
- Watching movies together in the flat
- Gaming
- Follow the sun (Lahnwiesen)
- Having intelligent discussions in the kitchen
- Being stupid in the kitchen
- Yes, the kitchen is our living room =)
!!!Special, important note!!!
As you might know now, it makes no sense for me to go for short term intermediate rent (e.g. 2-4 weeks) so please just contact me if you are planning to stay one semester minimum (4-5 months). I’m totally fine with a shorter stay but in this case, you have to care for a new tenant. Longer stay than 6 months is always fine!
Please read the information about the flat carefully to avoid double questions in writing. I’m student but still lazy af! =)
Have a nice day! Looking forward to seeing you soon!
Greetings, Ralph
