Das unmöblierte Zimmer selbst ist ca. 15m² groß mit einer halben Unterteilung in der Mitte die Ideal ist um Schreibtisch und Bett zu trennen. Wie im Rest der Wohnung regiert der Dielenboden, während die Decke angenehm hoch ist und den Wohnraum großzügiger erscheinen lässt. Die Wohnung bietet einen Blick über die Dächer der Stadt nach Nordwesten, zum Innenhof, heraus. Die Miete beträgt 401€ inkl. hausbezogene Nebenkosten, wie Treppenhausreinigung etc.. Dazu kommen noch Abschläge für Strom, Gas, Internet und GEZ was dann so ungefähr 471€ insgesamt macht. Davon übernimmt jeder Mieter einen Posten, sodass die Kosten aufgeteilt sind. Nach jedem Jahr gibt es dann eine WG-interne Abrechnung.
The room is about 15m² with a sort of separation ideal to put on one side a bed and a desk on the other. The room comes without furniture. As in the rest of the flat, the floorboards rule, while the ceiling is pleasantly high and makes the living space seem more spacious. The flat offers a view over the rooftops of the city to the northwest, out to the inner courtyard.
The rent is 401€ including house-related service charges, such as staircase cleaning, etc... In addition, there are charges for electricity, gas, and internet which lead to approximately 471€ total. Each of us pays one of these so that the costs are shared. After each year, there is an internal settlement for the flat-sharing community.
Gelebt wird im 4. OG in der Roten Straße, im Herzen von Göttingen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Nahverkehr und prinzipiell alles andere ist sehr schnell fußläufig erreichbar, was bei der Lage keine Überraschung sein sollte. Durch die Lage im 4. OG und zum Innenhof hinaus bleibt der Lärm des Stadtgetummels sehr gedämpft, wofür man vor allem am Wochenende sehr dankbar ist.
We live on the 4th floor at Rote Straße 10, in the heart of Göttingen. Shopping facilities, public transport, and basically everything else is easily within walking distance, which should not be a surprise given the location. Due to the location on the 4th floor and out to the courtyard, the noise of the city bustle remains very muted, for which one is very grateful, especially on weekends.
Du würdest mit Anne (macht eine Ausbildung zur Veranstaltungstechnikerin) und Jonas (Physikdoktorand) zusammenleben, mit denen sich alles sehr unkompliziert gestaltet. Außerdem wird ab Februar, Seba, ein Kollege von Jonas, das Gästezimmer unter der Woche untermieten. Er ist meist von Montag bis Mittwoch/Donnerstag da, kann aber auch mal variieren.
Alle haben aufgrund ihrer Tätigkeit viel zu tun, wenn auch zu leicht unterschiedlichen Tageszeiten, wobei natürlich trotzdem noch Zeit für die schönen Dinge bleibt.
Anne ist selbst erst vor knapp dre Monaten eingezogen und lebt sich noch ein ist aber sehr sportlich unterwegs, kocht regelmäßig und ist immer für einen kurzen Schnack zu haben.
Jonas ist ein sehr ruhiger und ausgeglichener Geselle und genießt gutes Essen ebenso gerne und kocht gelegentlich auch mal für alle (Käsespätzle for the win).
Generell sind beide in jeglicher Angelegenheit sehr hilfsbereit. Das Wohnzimmer bietet sich geradezu an für gemeinsame Spiele- oder Filmabende (Das Heimkino mit Dolby Surround macht's möglich).
Bis jetzt wurden sich grundlegende Nahrungsmittel geteilt und immer mal wieder von jemandem nachgekauft, was aber nicht verpflichtend ist. Solltest du lieber für dich einkaufen und essen, dann ist das natürlich in Ordnung. Es wird ein gewisser Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt, daher lebt die WG größtenteils vegetarisch.
Die WG ist kein Partyzentrum, daher wird jemand gesucht der oder die genug zu tun hat und nicht mehr nur dem Hedonismus fröhnt. Freunde und andere Gäste sind aber natürlich gern gesehen und können im Gästezimmer untergebracht werden, was immer mal wieder vorkommt und wir alle sehr zu schätzen gelernt haben.
You would live with Anne (training to be an event technician) and Jonas (physics PhD student), who both are rather uncomplicated companions. In addition, starting in February, Seba, a colleague of Jonas, will rent the guest room during the week. Generally, he will stay from Monday to Wednesday, but this may also vary.
Due to their jobs, they are somewhat busy, albeit at slightly different times. Of course, though, there is still time for nice activities.
Anne herself only moved in barely a month ago and is still settling in, but is very sporty, cooks regularly, and is always available for a quick chat.
Jonas is a very calm and balanced fellow and enjoys good food just as much and occasionally cooks for everyone (Käsespätzle for the win).
In general, both are very helpful in any matter. The living room is perfectly suited for playing board games or watching films together (the home cinema with Dolby Surround rules).
Up to now, basic food has been shared and occasionally bought by someone else, but this is not obligatory. If you prefer to buy and eat for yourself, that is of course fine. There is a certain emphasis on sustainability, so the WG lives mostly vegetarian.
The flat-sharing community is not a party hotspot, so they are looking for someone who has enough to do and no longer indulges in hedonism. Friends and other guests are of course always welcome and can be accommodated in the guest room, which happens from time to time and is very much appreciated by all of us.
