Liebe Menschen, bei uns wird ab 1. September 1 Zimmer frei, weil eine von uns ein Auslandssemster macht. Das Zimmer hat eine hohe Decke und ist 16 groß. Das Zimmer ist in der oberen Etage und hat ein Dachfenster sowie 3 Fenster, die nach vorne zum Parkplatz ausgerichtet sind.

Dear people, one room in our WG will be free from 01.09 because one of us are going for a semester abroad. The room has quite high ceilings and is 16qm big. The room is on the second floor and has three windows (plus one roof window - so you can count stars whilst falling asleep!)

Wir wohnen im Wohnheim "Kolosseum". Falls das Wort Wohnheim in dir Assoziationen von anonymen Einzelappartments an langen Gängen hervorruft - so wohnen wir nicht: Bei uns ist es gemütlich und gemeinschaftlich. Die WG liegt campusnah und auch zum Unisport ist es nicht weit. Sowohl in die Innenstadt als auch zum Göttinger Wald sind es nur 5 Minuten mit dem Rad. In unserem großen Garten kann man entspannt Zeit verbringen. Falls du ein Auto hast, kannst du es auf dem Bewohner*innenparkplatz abstellen.
We live in a dormitory called Kolosseum. If the word “dormitory” evokes an association with anonymous single apartments and long cold corridors be reassured - this is not how we live: at our place it is comfy and communally. The WG is not far away from the campus and UniSport. You can reach the city centre and the forest in about 5 minutes by bike. Our big (shared) garden is a brillant spot to chill out. Oh, and if you have a car, it is also possible to rent a parking place.
Wir sind eine bunt durchmischte Gruppe aus Menschen, die Geschlechterforschung, Kulturantrhopologie, Philosophie, VWL, Englische Philologie, Ethnologie oder ein Urlaubssemester machen. Wir verbringen gerne Zeit zusammen! Mal geplant mal ungeplant kochen wir gemeinsam, spielen, grillen, machen unterschiedlichste Musik und kommen bei nem Gläschen Vino und/oder ner Kippe auf unserem kleinen Balkon zusammen. Sowohl ein gemeinschaftliches WG-Leben, als auch einen Rückzugsort zu haben, ist uns wichtig.
Auf Sexist*innen, Rassist*innen, Menschen mit homophoben und trans*feindlichen Einstellungen etc. haben wir keine Lust.
Wir freuen uns auf deine Nachricht, in der du uns schon ein bisschen von dir erzählst! Schreib uns auch bitte wann wolltest du einziehen, wann bist du in Göttingen und welche Farbe hat dein Lieblingsdinosaurier!
We are colourfully mixed group of people who study Gender Studies, Anthropology of Culture, Philosophy, Economy, English Philology, Ethnology or take a semester off. We like to spend time together! Sometimes we do some spontaneous or planned cooking, we play board games, make various music together and come together for some wine and cigarettes and occasionally for a barbecue on our small balcony. It is however important for us to be in a WG where we can not only socialise but also hole up in our room.
We are not open for people exhibiting sexist, racist, homophobic or transphobic behaviour.
We would love to receive a message from you and read a little bit about you! Please write us also when would you plan to move in, when are you going to be in Göttingen and what is the color of your favorite dinosaur!
