The room is around 15m2 with a sunny window towards a calm street a few floors below with no traffic except residents. It's quite a cozy bedroom. Our community areas are the entry/dining area, the kitchen (oven, fridge, no dishwasher) and the bathroom (with bathtub + shower). The flat is located on the third floor under the roof and there are only two more flats in the house. Since there is no elevator, it is quite convenient that the furniture in the room can be passed over for free (bed, desk, chair, wardrobe, chest of drawers ...). Our shared washing machine and a storage room are in the basement.
Das Zimmer ist etwa 15 m² groß, sonnig und hat ein Fenster das auf eine ruhige Straße schaut (nur Anwohnerverkehr). Unsere Gemeinschaftsbereiche sind der Eingangs-/Essbereich, die Küche (mit Backofen, Kühlschrank) und das Badezimmer (mit Badewanne + Dusche). Die Wohnung befindet sich im dritten Stock unter dem Dach und es gibt nur zwei weitere Wohnungen im Haus. Da kein Aufzug vorhanden ist, ist es recht praktisch, dass die Möbel im Zimmer umsonst übernommen werden können (Bett, Schreibtisch, Stuhl, Kleiderschrank, Kommode ...). Unsere gemeinsame Waschmaschine und ein Abstellraum befinden sich im Keller.
We live right in the city center, it's so perfect! At any time and in no time, you can go for groceries shopping (Alnatura, Kaufland), for an ice cream in town or a tour of the city. The main campus of the university is 10 min walking distance, in 15 min you reach the main train station, even less with your bike. There are no shops or bars nor traffic in the street itself, so at the same time, it is very quiet.
Wir wohnen direkt im Stadtzentrum, es ist perfekt! Jederzeit und im Handumdrehen kann man Lebensmittel einkaufen (Alnatura, Kaufland), der Hauptcampus der Universität ist in nur 10 min zu Fuß erreichbar, in 15 min erreicht man den Hauptbahnhof, mit dem Fahrrad geht es noch schneller. In der Straße selbst gibt es weder Geschäfte noch Bars, daher ist es trotz der zentralen Lage sehr ruhig.
We, Azadeh (28, MSc student in mathematics) and Jessica (35, Key Account Manager in the sustainability industry and self-employed diversity trainer) are both working from home and would like to share the house with a flatmate who is used to sharing a flat and respects the well-being of everyone. We are looking for a friendly person who likes to chat and share a meal from time to time, with no problem keeping everything in the flat tidy and clean. We speak German, English, Farsi, Italian, Dutch and Spanish. Every now and then a small dog, Georgie, a 2.5-year-old terrier, comes to visit and stays over the weekend.
Please write a little bit about and let us know how long you are planning to stay in Göttingen. We are looking for a flat mate who stays with us rather for longterm. We are an ecofriendly, openminded, diversity and lgbtiqa+ friendly WG.
Wir, Azadeh (28, Master-Studentin im Fach Mathematik) und Jessica (35, Key Account Managerin in der Nachhaltigkeitsbranche und selbstständige Diversity-Trainerin) arbeiten beide von zu Hause aus und möchten das Haus mit einer Person teilen, die WG-Erfahrung hat und das Wohl aller Bewohner respektiert. Wir suchen eine freundliche Person, die gerne mal plaudert und ab und zu eine Mahlzeit teilt, ohne Probleme, alles in der WG sauber und ordentlich zu halten. Wir sprechen Deutsch, Englisch, Farsi, Italienisch, Niederländisch und Spanisch. Ab und zu kommt ein kleiner freundlicher Hund, Georgie, ein 2,5 Jahre alter Terrier, zu Besuch und bleibt über das Wochenende.
Bitte schreibe ein wenig über dich selbst und teilen´uns mit, wie lange du planst, in Göttingen zu bleiben. Wir suchen eine*n Mitbewohner*in, die/der eher langfristig bei uns bleibt. Wir sind eine umweltfreundliche, weltoffene, diversitäts- und lgbtiqa+ freundliche WG.
