I'll be leaving the flat before the other housemate returns in February. The room on offer is spacious, with a desk, bed, TV, wifi and shelves; and has plenty of light. The flat itself is cozy and recently refurbished, with wooden floors and a well stocked kitchen. It's on the 2nd floor in a residential area next to the kreuzbergring and central campus. It has a bathroom, balcony and kitchen (with dishwasher), which doubles as the shared living space. There are washing and storage facilities in the basement.
There are about 4 supermarkets within 5 min walk, as well as a bus stop, shop and cafe at the doorstep. Its about 10 min walk to the bars and shops of the city centre.
The flatmates are friendly and both german and studying at the university. We are usually quite busy with work/study during the week but are happy to share a beer in the evenings and socialise together. Otherwise we like to keep the place clean and tidy.
The place is perfect for a visiting student, looking for a relaxed, well connected base in the city.
