Das Zimmer ist im ersten Stock, wo es noch andere Schlafzimmer und ein kleines Bad gibt. Zwei Fenster gehen nach Südosten zum Garten und blicken Richtung Geismar. Das Zimmer ist gut geschnitten und hat nur eine Außenwand, sodass es nicht schnell auskühlt. Es hat einen schönen alten Dielenboden. Möbliert ist es mit Bücherregalen, einem hölzernen Schreibtisch, einem gemütlichen Lesesessel mit Schemel, einem großen Bett und drei Schubladenschränken.

The room is on the second floor, together with other bedrooms and a little bathroom. Two windows face the garden and Geismar in the south-east. The room is well designed without too many corners. It has only one outer wall and a wooden floor, which keep in the warmth. It’s furnished with bookcases, a wooden desk, a comfy armchair, a large bed, and three drawer cabinets.
Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend am Rand des Ostviertels nahe Geismar. Innenstadt und Campus sind mit dem Rad in 10 Minuten zu erreichen, zu Fuß geht es auch gut. Ein Bus hält direkt vor der Tür. Zwei Supermärkte und ein Bäcker sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Schöne Gelegenheiten für Spaziergänge oder zum Joggen bieten der nahe Wald und die Schillerwiesen.
The house is located in a quiet residential area at the margins of the Ostviertel near Geismar. You can reach the city center and the campus by bike in ten minutes, and can also walk there. There’s also a bus stop right in front of the house. Nearby, there are two supermarkets and a bakery, plus the forest and the Schillerwiesen, which are great for walking or jogging.
Wir leben in einem Einfamilienhaus mit zwei Wohnzimmern, zwei Bädern, großem Garten, Keller, Fahrradgarage, Werkstatt und Töpferwerkstatt. In den anderen Zimmern wohnen fünf Erwachsene um die 30 und ein Kind, das bald zwei Jahre alt wird. Sie heißen Johannes, Luisa, Frederik, Lars, Isa und Leo. Es ist eine wunderbare und besondere WG, die sich durch Herzlichkeit und gegenseitige Unterstützung auszeichnet. Wir sind keine Zweck-WG, sondern nehmen viel Anteil am Leben der anderen. Manchmal verabreden wir uns, oft trifft eine den anderen in der Küche oder im Wohnzimmer und setzt sich dazu. Gekocht wird ohnehin normalerweise mehr, weil sich immer noch jemand freut. Die Aufgaben des Zusammenlebens stemmen wir zusammen.
We live in a spacious detached house with two living rooms, two bathrooms, a large garden, a basement, a bike garage, a wood workshop, and a pottery workshop. In the other rooms there live five adults around the age of 30 and a child, who will soon be two years old. Their names are Johannes, Luisa, Frederik, Lars, Isa, and Leo. They are wonderful and special flatmates, warm and supportive. We are not just sharing the rent for convenience, but we take a keen interest in the lives of each other. Sometimes we plan activities together, at other times we meet by chance in the kitchen or the living room. When somebody prepares food, they usually make more than enough because there will always be someone later who appreciates it. We also share the responsibilities of living together.
