My current roommate is planning to move in with a friend from home, so we are looking for a replacement for her room starting around August1-September 1.
The flat is very large. It has a full kitchen, living room, and 2 bedrooms. There is a washing machine for our flat in the cellar. Pets are welcomed by the landlord, but I do not have any now.
I am from the USA and I am currently doing my PhD in a Max Planck lab in the area. My German speaking skills are horrible, so I am looking for someone that does not mind communicating in English. As we have a great place to entertain people, I occasionally have friends over to hang out a couple times a month and my roommate is always welcomed to join us.
total monthly costs:
398.5+ 20electric+ 1/2 of internet contract (7.5-15 euros each)

It is near Tegut, Subway, Burger King, etc. Bus lines 41, 42, 22, 91, 92 are close by. It is literally across the street from the North campus and near the hospitals and university sports center. There are walking paths near by, so it would be an okay place for a dog
I am from the USA and I am doing my doctorate work in Biology here. I do not speak German, so the language of the WG needs to be English. It is nice to have a roommate that wants to hang out occasionally, but it is not a necessity to do this.
The fees for existing furniture can be negotiated and paid at a later time. Please write me if you are interested or have questions about anything is this advertisement. The common areas are furnished, but the room is not furnished. you can easily furnish the room for like as little as 200-300 euros
Requirements to rent by the land-lord
1. must sign a long-term contract (I want someone that will stay at least 2 years)
2. you must get accidental insurance to cover the property
3. you must submit one of the following:
a. a stipend/contract to cover your rent
b. your parents must sign a financial guarantee for the flat if you do not have the stipend/contract
