As we are taking a post-uni gap year to travel South America, we are subleasing our 3-bedroom apartment. 2 bedrooms are already occupied. The third one (20m²) is still available for rent - April to July. The minimum booking period is one month - although we'd prefer to rent the room for the full 4-month period.
About the room: The bedroom is facing east; the window is facing the inner courtyard. Bright light in the morning helps waking up. Nonetheless, the bedroom has roller shades to block the sunlight.
The apartment is located right across the street from the university. Due to the proximity to campus, Geidorf is a popular student area. It has multiple clubs and bars. Also, there are 3 supermarkets within easy walking distance. For more options, take a 10 minute walk to the center of town.
The apartment consists of 3 independently occupied bedrooms that share a kitchen and bathroom. You will share the apartment with Maxim (21) and Raimund (20). Maxim studies industrial engineering in Karlsruhe. However, for the next couple of months he will be staying in Graz to gain work experience through an internship. Raimund studies Musicology at the University of Graz and will be staying in our apartment until May 31st. Both Maxim and Raimund are very friendly and open. They both have an active social life but like to spend time with their flatmates in the evenings.
We are looking for someone who takes good care of our apartment. We like to keep common living areas clean and expect the same from our subtenants. Hosting small (covid-friendly ;)) parties is totally fine - as long as you don't upset our neighbours.
The rent (400€) includes electricity, water, heating and wi-fi/internet.
Additionally, you'll be required to pay a security deposit (1033€) to cover damages beyond normal wear and tear.
The apartment does not have an allocated parking space. However, on-street parking is available.
If you own a bike and don't want to lock it in the street, you can use our bicycle cellar.
