14 qm Zimmer in 2er WG

Die Wohnung ist in einer ruhigen Einbahnstraße gelegen und besitzt einen Garten, der unter den Hausbewohnern geteilt wird.

Zur U-bahn Station Merkenstraße sind es ca. 5 Gehminuten und von dort aus mit der U2 ca. 13 Minuten bis zum Hauptbahnhof.

Ganz in der Nähe befindet sich das Billstedt-Center (mit REWE), Lidl und ein Sportspaß Center.
Außerdem gibt es einen Aldi direkt neben der U-bahn Station. Alle relevanten Ärzte sind in der Umgebung zu finden.
50 Meter von der Wohnung entfernt ist ein kleiner Kiosk.

The flat is located in a quiet one-way street and has a garden, that is shared with the other people in the house.

The subway station "Merkenstraße" is 5 minutes away. From there it is 13 min. to main station with the U2.

Close by is a shopping center ("Billstedt-Center") and REWE, Lidl and Sportspaß. There is an Aldi next to the subway station. All kinds of doctors can be found in the area as well.
There is also a little kiosk 50m from the flat.

Die Wohnung hat 2 separate Zimmer, in einem davon wohne ich, Debbie, 26 Master-Studentin an der HAW Hamburg. In Hamburg wohne ich seit 2014.

An einer WG mag ich, dass man sich Abends über seinen Tag austauschen, zusammen kochen oder Netflix gucken kann. Aber wenn die Tür zu ist hat man natürlich auch mal seine Ruhe. In der Woche bin ich abends meistens zu Hause, oder treffe mich mit Freunden, um etwas essen oder trinken zu gehen. Am Wochenende schlafe ich auf jeden Fall erst mal aus, tagsüber entdecke ich gerne neue Ecken von Hamburg und Abends gehe ich gerne feiern. Ich gehe eher für die Musik in Clubs, und trinke nur selten (und meistens ungeplant) viel.
Generelle Sauberkeit ist mir wichtig, vor allem, weil Bad und Küche relativ klein sind.

The flat has 2 seperate rooms (I, Debbie, 26 year old grad-student, live in one of them). I have lived in Hamburg since 2014 now.

When living with someone, I like to talk about our day in the evening, cooking or watching Netflix together. But I can also respect, if you need your private time sometimes (just like I do). During the week, I usually hang out at home at night, or go out for dinner with friends. On the weekend I like to sleep in, then go on adventures during the day or out dancing at night (I like to go to club for the music and usually don’t drink much – or plan to ;) )

General cleanliness is important to me, especially since the kitchen and the bathroom are relatively small.

Im Moment befinde ich mich im letzten Abschnitt meines Masterstudiums in Supply Chain und werde demnächst anfangen, meine Masterarbeit zu schreiben. Nach meinem Abschluss werde ich die Wohnung (inkl. Mitbewohner) sicher noch eine Weile behalten.

Meistens höre ich EDM, vor allem Dubstep und House, je nachdem. I liebe die Rave Szene in Amerika, und die Festivals da. Unter normalen Umständen gehe ich meistens zu mehreren Pro Jahr. Vor allem die amerikanischen wie Lost Lands, Electric Forest und EDC haben es mir angetan. In Europa ist Tomorrowland definitiv mein Favorit.

Wenn ich nicht mein ganzes Geld für Festivals ausgebe, reise ich super gerne, und plane sicherlich auch schon mein nächstes Tattoo (z.Z. habe ich 4) oder suche nach neuen Restaurants die ich ausprobieren will.

Ich bin kein Morgenmensch und vor dem ersten Kaffee relativ schwierig anzusprechen.

I schaue Filme und Serien lieber auf Englisch als auf Deutsch

Vor Corona war ich Praktikant bei Lufthansa Technik in Amerika (in Oklahoma und New York).

Gerade versuche ich, Spanisch zu lernen.

Currently I am in the last phase of my Master in Suppl Chain, and am going to start writing my thesis soon. After graduating, I plan on staying in the apartment (incl. a roommate) for a while as well.

My favorite music Genre is EDM, especially Dupstep and House, depending on my mood. I love the American rave culture and festivals, when there’s not a virus running wild I usually attend multiple ones each year. I like the ones in the US and attended Lost Lands, Electric Forest and EDC before and loved it! In Europe, Tomorrowland is definitely my favorite!

If I am not spending all my money on festivals, I love traveling and might also already be planning my next tattoo (I have 4 so far) or thinking about which restaurant to try next.

I am not a morning person, usually talking to me before my first coffee is difficult.
I prefer watching movies/ shows in English instead of German.

Before Corona, I was an intern at Lufthansa Technik in Oklahoma and New York.

Currently I am trying to learn Spanish.
