Moin! The room is 17 square meters, it has a bed with drawers under, a desk, office chair, spacious closet and like a shelf. The room gets a lot of light from the large windows and in summer all the windows can be opened to cool the room down. Everything is included in the total rent, additional costs, water, electricity, and internet. The room is temporary for July.
The dorms are in a very nice place in my opinion. The flat is in a nice and quiet residential area in Lokstedt, very close to the Zoo. The U-bahn/bus station Hagenbeck's Tierpark (U2) is only 9 minutes away, and the area is littered with different other bus stations around you depending on your destination. Supermarkets are within walking distance, Aldi 600m, Edeka 600m, Rewe 900m. Pharmacies are also within a 10-minute walk as well. Generally, pretty connected area! Hammer Park is just a station away also.
You'll be living with Moritz (22), Hamza (24), Thao (27), Clara (22), and Ashleigh (22), although Hamza, Mortiz, and Ashleigh probably won't be here for July, so it'd be just you with Clara and Thao. They're all students in Uni Hamburg except Mortiz who is studying at UKE, and they all speak German and English It's pretty chill usually, and pretty quiet. You ran into the flatmates in the kitchen and if you like baking Clara and Ashleigh are always down to bake something. In general, everyone is super nice in the flat and we never have any problems.
Kitchenware is not in the flat so you might have to get some plates/pans/kitchenware so you can use the kitchen, other than that the kitchen is very spacious and well equipped. Unfortunately, anmeldung is not possible as this is only a temporary offer from July. Only one extra thing you need to know is that there are 3 washing machines and 2 drying machines in the basement that you can use for some coins.
