Since our roommate has moved out, we are currently searching for someone to join our wg.
The room is 20sqm and is finished with a bed (see picture) for the price of 500 €. The room is located on the side facing the courtyard, so is one of the quietest rooms in the WG. As seen in the pictures, parts of the wall are painted in a bright green, of course, the room can be re-painted if you desire. The price of the bed includes:

The shared apartment is located very close to the Christ Church on Klagesmarkt. It is about 5-7 minutes' walk to the university. Two subway lines go directly to the city center from the Christ Church. There is also a bus stop for bus lines 100 and 200 at the Christ Church. There is a Netto on Klagesmarkt, which is not very big but has everything you need for everyday life. The nearest REWE is one subway stop away (about 10 minutes' walk).
The Nordstadt is a very lively district with many students, many young people, various bars, pubs, cafes, restaurants and other localities.
We are a shared flat of 4 people with currently 1 women Karen (Colombian, trainee) and two boys (me (Irish, employed)and Märcus (Australian).
In the shared flat we speak a mix of English and German. Karen and I understand the most German, but conversations in English are usually easier, so you shouldn't be afraid to speak English (you get used to it quickly and you learn a few things along the way. Marcus is starting courses to learn German, so English is also best for him.
We are a shared flat that likes to chill out with each other, chat, have a drink or two and enjoy being in a community. We are tidy and clean, we are not cleaning fanatics but we are not slobs either (of course there is a cleaning schedule).
We are looking for an open-minded, independent flatmate who doesn't just sit in her room, has a sense of responsibility and wants to lead a happy, pleasant shared flat life.
Our household is pretty well equipped.
We have a large fridge with freezer compartment, a fully automatic coffee machine, a microwave, a dishwasher, a stove with ceramic hob, an oven and a washing machine
