Unsere schöne 3er-WG ist im zweiten Stockwerk eines Heidelberger Altbaus. Sie hat drei Zimmer, zwei Bäder und eine Küche mit Essbereich. Mein Zimmer, das ich wegen eines Praktikums im genannten Zeitraum untervermiete, ist ca. 17 qm groß, durch zwei große Fenster sehr hell und bereits mit Bett, Regal, Kleiderschrank, Schreibtisch und einer Kommode ausgestattet. Trotz der zentralen Lage hört man wegen der guten Fensterisolierung wenig vom Stadttrubel. Ein Highlight ist auf jeden Fall das große, suuuper gemütliche chill-Sofa!
Our beautiful 3-person shared apartment is on the second floor of an old building in Heidelberg. It has three rooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen with dining area. My room, which I sublet because of an internship in the mentioned period, is about 17 square meters, very bright through two large windows and already equipped with bed, shelf, closet, desk and a chest of drawers. Despite the central location, you hear little of the city bustle because of the good window insulation. A highlight is definitely the large, suuuper cozy chill sofa!
Die Wohnung befindet sich sehr zentral – mitten in der Altstadt, 2 Gehminuten vom Bismarckplatz entfernt. Trotz der guten Lage ist die Wohngegend eher ruhig, da unsere Straße für Altstadt-Verhältnisse doch eine der weniger belebten ist: Sweet spot! Mit Nachbarn haben wir bisher auch noch keine Probleme gehabt, wenn es bei uns mal etwas lauter war. Direkt vor der Haustür befindet sich ein Penny und sonst ist auch alles mögliche schnell zu erreichen.
The apartment is very centrally located - in the middle of the old town, 2 minutes walking from Bismarckplatz. Despite the good location, the residential area is rather quiet, since our street is one of the less busy for Altstadt standards: Sweet spot! With neighbors we have so far had no problems, even if we turned up the music volume a bit. Directly opposite the apartment there is a penny and almost everything is within easy reach.
In der WG leben im genannten Zeitraum Moritz, Lorenz und vielleicht Du!
Moritz, 26, und Lorenz, 24, sind gesellige Typen und stets bei einem netten Gespräch dabei. Moritz kann Dir aufgrund seines Nebenjobs mit viel Insider-Wissen und Storys die Heidelberger Kneipen(kultur) nahebringen, während Lorenz auch tatsächlich studiert 😉. Beide sind der Inbegriff des entspannten Zusammenlebens! In der WG wird sich häufig spontan zum Essen, Musik hören oder auf ein Gläschen Wein getroffen. Circa einmal im Monat wird traditionell ein Filmeabend veranstaltet, wozu sich schon genanntes Sofa natürlich perfekt eignet :D Wichtig ist allen, dass das WG-Leben niemanden einengt.
During the mentioned period, Moritz, Lorenz, and possibly you live in the shared apartment! Moritz, 26, and Lorenz, 24, are social individuals always up for a good conversation. Thanks to his part-time job, Moritz can introduce you to the pub culture in Heidelberg with insider knowledge and stories, while Lorenz is actually a student 😉. Both embody the essence of easygoing coexistence! The apartment is a place where spontaneous gatherings for meals, music, or a glass of wine happen frequently. Approximately once a month, there's a tradition of hosting a movie night, and the sofa mentioned earlier is, of course, perfect for that :D It's important to everyone that living together in the apartment doesn't feel restrictive to anyone.
