The room is approximately 13 square meters in size and equipped with a bed, a table, a chair, a wardrobe, a shelf and a nightstand. Because it is a souterrain room (like the whole apartement), it is not super bright. In front of the window are the stairs which lead to the apartement. Everything included (also Internet, etc.), the rent is around 410 euros per month.
The shared appartment is in the souterrain of a house in Heidelberg Handschuhsheim, right next to the tram station "Burgstraße". With the tram, you can get to Bismarckplatz as well as to the Neuenheimer Feld quickly and also go north toward Schriesheim and Weinheim. Aldi, Rewe, DM and other stores are very close.
Currently, the apartement is being shared by three doctoral students in their first year.
We have a nice kitchen that is equipped with a stove, an oven, a dishwaser, a washing machine, a refrigator, a freezer, a toaster...
Yuliia is from Ukraine, is just starting her PhD and likes board games, cooding and reading.
Jinyang studied in Aachen before coming to Heidelberg and likes to go to the gym and cook spicy Chinese meals.
Leon also came to Heidelberg for the PhD and loves running, reading classic books and having intense discussions about philosophy.
We often cook together or go to events in the city. We have a cleaning plan and generally have very high standards for cleanness.
Because we are all working and have to get up early, it is important to us that the quiet hours at night are respected.
