Das Zimmer hat eine komfortable Größe, mit einem großen Fester und damit viel Tageslicht. Gleichzeitig führt die Ausrichtung nach Norden dazu, dass sich das Zimmer im Sommer nicht sehr stark aufheizt.

Die Wohnung liegt am äußeren Ende von Kirchheim mit direkter Anbindung an die S-Bahn Linie (2-3 Gehminuten) und Straßenbahn (2-3 Gehminuten).
Mit der Straßenbahn Linie 26 erreicht man die Heidelberg Innen- und Altstadt in 15 Minuten. Von dort aus sind alle weiteren Straßenbahn- /Busverbindungen zur Heidelberger Universität oder ins Neuenheimer Feld erreichbar.

The flat is located at the outer ending of Kirchheim with direct connection to the local train station (2-3 minutes walking distance) and tram station (2-3 minutes walking distance).
With the tram line number 26 you get to Heidelberg city/old town within 12 minutes. From there you have a connection to all further tram/bus connections to Heidelberg University or Neuenheimer Feld.
Das Verhältnis unter den Mitbewohnern ist sehr entspannt. Auf der Etage teilst Du dir ein WC + Dusche mit 3 Mitbewohnern.
Es gibt einen Putzplan und alle zwei Wochen kommt eine Reinigungskraft für die Küche/Bäder.
Das WG W-Lan kann bei Bedarf mitbenutzt werden für eine Gebühr von 10€.
The atmosphere in the flat is relaxed. On the floor you share a WC + shower with 3 roommates.
There is a cleaning schedule and professional cleaning staff comes every two weeks. The wifi can be used if needed for a surcharge of 10€.
Der Vermieter bietet erstmal einen "befristeten" Vertrag bis zum 30.09.2024 an, um dann nochmal bei Bedarf und in Rücksprache mit der WG verlängern zu können. Meiner Erfahrung nach ist das aber unkompliziert und er hat nur in seltenen Fällen (keine Beteiligung am gemeinsamen Putzplan bzw. ständige Probleme mit der Miete) einen Vertrag nicht verlängert.
The landlord initially offers a "fixed-term" contract until 30.09.2024, so that he can then extend it again if necessary and in consultation with the flat share.
