Hello everybody!
I sub-rent the student room where I live between the 5/06/17 (really flexible) to the 30/09/17. It's a bright room with a huge window, completely furnished (bed, wardrobe, desk, chair and self) of about 13m2. It is placed in a two-rooms apartment, sharing with another student the kitchen and the bathroom.
The house is in a quite neighbourhood, with plenty of space for parking your bike and with the possibility to park a car (need to ask the price in case it is needed). The room is reachable by the tram 24 and 21 and the buses 31, 37 and 32. It is perfect for short term students that need to go to the Neuenheim campus, or even to the city center (you can reach Universitaetplatz in 15min by bus). In front of it, you have the Mathematikon with a lot of shops for your groceries (when I say in front, I mean that you can even go with your pyjama!)
My flatmate is a nice Lithuanian girl that it is doing her bachelor on Psychology studies. She speaks a perfect German and English, and she is currently studying Spanish. So you won't have any problem of communication :) She is very friendly, and an active person. We like to have conversations at home, while we're cooking or having breakfast. It's a really good flatmate, and in case you need anything she is really open to help. We have quite restricted cleaning rules. As the house it's not so big, we appreciate if whoever is coming loves a friendly and clean environment :)
The total price of the room is 250e, where the rent is about 190e and utility costs 60e (internet and the radio/TV fee). I would ask for a caution of 500e (two times the rent). There is a washing room in the cellar of the building with several washing machines and dryers. It is important that ** only Heidelberg University students are allowed** . The owners allow me to rent the room for university people, and in addition washing machines can only be paid with the university ID card (the used one for the mensa).
