Falls man z.B.
S: Hallo liebe Menschen! Ich benutze keine Pronomen bzw they/them & bin 29 Jahre alt.
O: Hey there! I mostly prefer to be referred by my name but I use pronouns they/them/he. I'm 25 and I'm doing my Master's on Theoretical Physics. I've been in Heidelberg for 9 months and this is my second term here. In addition to physics, I'm working on filmmaking and photography. I've been producing with various collectives back in Istanbul, Turkey but I'm also open to collaborations here! I watch films a lot and I also like traveling, walking, discussing and sharing experiences, exploring by communication and observation through journeys. I used to spend more time in the kitchen but I always love cooking, tasting new cuisines and sharing!

English version :)
The apartment is located on the first floor, up a few stairs. The available room has two large windows, each with upper windows as well, so that a lot of light comes in. Due to the built-in loft bed, the room is quite spacious despite the 12 square meters, and can be arranged according to your liking :) A built-in storage space above the door (accessible with our ladder) is great for things that you don't need as often. You are welcome to take over some of the other furniture for a down payment. We all have our own small fridges in our rooms. There is an extra one in case you need it! We can talk about this in detail when the time comes!
The room is attached to the kitchen, which - like everything in the WG - is small, but fully equipped. From the kitchen, you can access the bathroom, which you will share with one person. Our washing machine is also in the bathroom. You can hang your laundry to dry in the boiler room in the basement or in the garden on warm days.
Our landlady lives above our flat, and we have a good relationship with her. The terrace and the garden belong to her, but we can use both most of the time. If you want to invite people for a little garden party though, for example, we discuss this with her in advance.
Our apartment is located in the Neuenheim district - very well connected to public transport: a stop for the lines 5, 23, 29, 31 is 3 minutes away. Bismarckplatz is just a 5 minute walk away. Whether it's the train station, Neuenheimer Feld or the old town - you can get anywhere pretty quickly!
Just around the corner you can visit the beautiful Neckarwiese for a walk along the river, the local farmers market every Wednesday and Saturday, or into the forest via the Philosophenweg! Supermarkets (LIDL and Rewe) are within 10 minutes walking distance.
Here are a few lines about your possible new roommates:
S: Hello! I use they/them pronouns & I'm 29 years old. I've been living in Heidelberg for a few years and work in the field of anti-discrimination. I also love creative projects and am involved in various collectives and alliances. I like to read, bake and dance! Sometimes I take part in new courses or fellowships. I think a lot about how we can take better care of ourselves and each other. I value solidarity, open communication, and fresh baked goods :)
O: Hey there! I mostly prefer to be referred by my name, but I use pronouns they/them/he.
We have a cleaning schedule and take turns with the kitchen and bathroom every week. Don't worry, it's not a big space, so it goes pretty quickly. One person has a separate bathroom, they clean themselves. You would then be responsible for cleaning the kitchen every three weeks, and the bathroom every two weeks.
We enjoy cooking together (vegetarian/vegan) and spending WG evenings together on the terrace, doing puzzles, playing games or going for walks in the forest together. Unfortunately, there is no living room in our WG, so we are very happy when the doors are open and you just drop in or share a meal in the garden. If you want to be alone, that is of course no problem. Our shared language in the WG is english.
It is important to us that we can understand each other well, and the main thing is to be able to communicate well so that everyone can feel at home. Care, respect, but also joy and togetherness are part of that for us. Regarding Covid-19, we have a very intentional relationship with each other and have regular, transparent communication regarding our exposure and testing. It would be important to us that you take this issue seriously as well.
We are both queer and would love to open this space to other FLINTA* people (women, lesbian, intersex, nonbinary, trans, agender people) who experience difficulties and discrimination in the housing market. So BIPoC, LGBTQIA*+, people with disabilities, and/or people who cannot afford places to live in HD will be prioritized. We would love to live with people who are already 27 or older, experienced living with others, and are not necessarily students. A must for this WG: empathy, mindfulness, openness, and respect.
