The room is approx. 10 m² but has a balcony and faces the inner courtyard behind the house and is therefore nice and quiet. The room is full furnished but there isn't a desk. Since I bought all the furniture (bed, mattress, wardrobe, a chair, a small chest of drawers, a shoe rack and a mirror) I'm asking 50 € for it. The window lets lots of light shines into the room and the floor is covered with wooden floorboards. The room is available from March 6th! Electricity and gas are currently very expensive, which is why our rent is far more expensive than usual, right now the rent is 416 € bills included . But it is said to be cheaper again in April. But only then will that become apparent. The apartment has a fitted kitchen with an oven, ceramic hob, fridge and a dishwasher (!!!). The daylight bathroom has a bathtub. The apartment is on the 2nd floor in an old building with several tenants. The Multi-family house is near the bridge street. It is 5-10 minutes by bike to Neuenheimer Feld, campus Bergheim or to Universitätsplatz. It is also only a 15-minute walk to the old town. Also are within walking distance a Lidl and the bus stops Kußmaulstraße (RNV 5, 23) and Lutherstraße (31) reachable. At the moment we are still three students in the shared apartment. We like to cook together and chat in the kitchen. We have a relatively new dishwasher (!!) that is in frequent use and a well-functioning cleaning plan. The person staying here is Tim, 25 years old and is a PhD student. :) In the basement we have our own washing machine, and in the attic there are more than enough space to store things or to dry laundry. Bicycles can be rented in park in the backyard or in the bicycle cellar. The rest of the residents of the house are very nice and quiet. The landlord does not live in in direct proximity to the flat share, but is always easily accessible for possible concerns and very affable. The deposit is 500€.
