In unserer 11-er WG (keine Verbindung wir sind einfach nur eine große WG) wird ein Zimmer frei, da eine unsererer Mitbewohnerinnen auszieht. Wir suchen also zum 1.06.2024 (frühstens 26.05.2024) eine nette Nachmieterin oder einen netten Nachmieter!
Das Zimmer ist ca. 16 qm groß und liegt im 1. Stock eines alten, aber 2019 sanierten Reihenhauses. Es hat weiß gestrichene Wände und einen sehr atmosphärischen, weil leise knarrenden Holzdielenboden. Aus dem Fenster hat man einen wunderbaren Blick in unseren Garten.
Wir finden besonders jemanden, der die Möbel übernehmen würde. Die Möbel wurden von IKEA gekauft (Originalpreis: 510€) und würden zu 350€ (VB) verkauft. Das WG-Leben verteilt sich auf drei Stockwerke: Im 1. und 2. OG wohnen jeweils vier Leute, im EG drei Leute. Jedes Stockwerk hat natürlich sein eigenes Badezimmer. Die Küche liegt im EG und ist groß genug, um auch wenn Mal viele da sind, gemeinsam zu kochen, essen, spielen oder sich zu unterhalten. 😊
Die Küche ist bis auf eine Spülmaschine voll ausgestattet und verfügt über zwei große Kühlschränke sowie zwei Cerankochfelder. Auf der Veranda haben wir ein paar Kräuter gepflanzt. Von der Terrasse aus kommt man in unseren großen Garten. Dort kann man in der Hängematte entspannen oder andere Mitbewohner*innen zu einer Runde Tischtennis herausfordern. Außerdem gibt es einen Feigenbaum und eine große Grillstelle. Darüber hinaus steht im Garten auch ein offen gebauter Schuppen, in dem man Fahrräder o.ä. lagern kann. Im Keller stehen zwei Waschmaschinen, hier trocknen wir in den kalten Monaten die Wäsche.
Wir würden gerne an der 2. Woche Mai (~6. bis 12. Mai) zu Besichtigungen einladen.

Since one of our current flatmates will move out soon, we're looking for a nice new flatmate in our 11-person WG, starting from 1st June 2024 (or earliest 26th May 2024).
The room is about 16 square meters and is located on the first floor of an old but newly (2019) renovated house. The room is painted white but still gives you a cozy and homey feeling, thanks to the lightly squeaky wooden floor.
We are particularly finding someone who would take on the furniture. The furniture was purchased from IKEA (original price: 510€) and would be sold for 350€ (negotiable). Life in the shared flat is spread over three floors: four people live on the 1st and 2nd floors and three people on the ground floor. Each floor has its own bathroom, of course. The kitchen is on the ground floor and is big enough to cook, eat, play or chat together, even when there are lots of people around. 😊
The kitchen has two big fridges and two ceramic cooktops. We also grow some herbs on the terrace (located just outside the kitchen) and we also keep some groceries (e.g., onions, potatoes) in a storage room by the terrace. The terrace overlooks our big garden, where you can sit on the garden sofas, chill on the hammock or play table tennis with other flatmates. There's also a fig tree and barbecue. Additionally, there's a shed where you can store some stuff, e.g. a bike. There are two washing machines in the basement and that's where we also dry our clothes during the winter.
We will be inviting people to see the room and meet us on the 2nd week of May (~6th to 12th May).
Mit dem Rad braucht man in die Altstadt 15 min, ins Neuenheimer Feld 20-25 Minuten (je nach dem, wie sportlich man ist). Die nächste Straßenbahnhaltestelle ist drei, wenn man rennt, eine Minute weit entfernt. Die Linie 23 fährt zum Bismarckplatz, die Linie 24 über den Hbf ins Neuenheimer Feld. Es gibt in fußläufiger Nähe einen Penny, Banken, Ärzte, Apotheken, Restaurants, Bäcker und Friseure. Jeden Samstag gibt es in Rohrbach außerdem
einen kleinen Markt mit regionalen Produkten. Vor dem Haus stehen zwei Parkplätze zur Verfügung, ansonsten kann man aber auch in den umliegenden Nebenstraßen parken (teils Parkausweis erforderlich). Wenn du gerne draußen unterwegs bist, ist der Weg in die Weinberge und ins Grüne nicht weit.

By bike, you can get to the Altstadt in 15 min and to the Neuenheimer Feld in 20-25 min (it probably depends on how athletic you are).The nearest tram station is 2 min away by walking (or just a minute, if you run). Tram 23 goes to Bismarkplatz whereas the 24 goes to Neuenheimer Feld via the Hauptbahnhof. There's also a Penny, banks, clinics, pharmacies, restaurants, backeries and hairdressers within walking distance. Additionally, there's a small regional produce market here in Rohrbach every Saturday. There are 2 parking spots in front of the house. You can also park your car by the nearby streets. If you like going outdoors, there are vineyards and plenty of nature spots close by.
Es leben ohne dich vier Jungs und sechs Mädels in der WG, die alle unterschiedlich weit in ihrem Studium bzw. zum Teil berufstätig sind. Unser Portfolio reicht von Jura über Physik, Mathe und Geographie bis hin zu sozial ausgerichteten Studiengängen; die Leute sind zwischen 21 und 30 Jahre alt.
Das WG-Leben ist sehr entspannt, rauschende Drogenpartys wollen wir nicht. Im Sommer grillen wir dafür gemütlich im Garten, spielen Tischtennis oder streiten uns um die Hängematte. :) Man trifft sich häufig in der Küche zum Kochen und Quatschen oder für Spieleabende; gelegentlich macht man auch tolle Ausflüge zusammen. Wir haben keinen Putzfimmel, trotzdem freuen wir uns über ein sauberes und hygienisches Haus, und wir haben einen Putzplan, den jeder befolgen soll.

Once our current flatmate moves out, there would be 4 lads and 6 ladies left in the WG. Some of us are studying (from law to physics, math, and geography) and some of us are working. We are all between 21 and 30 years old.
Our WG life is very relaxed, and we don't do smoking/drug parties. In the summer we do some grilling in our garden, splash around in our mini pool, play table tennis or even fight with each other for the hammock :) We meet each other often in the kitchen to cook, chat and watch films and TV series. Sometimes we also do some trips together. We are not crazily obsessed with hygiene, but we do like to keep our house clean and tidy, and we have a cleaning plan for everyone to follow.
Das Zimmer wird ab dem 1. Juni mittels Einzelmietvertrag und einer Pauschalmiete von 565€ vermietet (kalt 465 + 100 Euro Nebenkosten). Die Nebenkostenpauschale beinhaltet Strom, Wasser, Gas, Müll, Grundsteuer etc.! Für Internet und GEZ kommen noch ca. 10 Euro im Monat dazu.

The room would be available starting June 1st and will be rented out with a single lease contract and an overall rent of 565€ (465€ fixed rent + 100€ for side costs), which includes all the side costs (electricity, water, gas, trash, property tax, etc). There's also an additional of ~10€ for the internet and the TV/radio tax.
If you're interested in our WG, do write to us! It would be better if you also include your phone number and tell us a bit about yourself (e.g., what do you do, your hobbies). We would then set up an appointment in order to get to know you better!
!! The prerequisites for a possible rental lease are (1) a confirmation letter from your parents (or something similar, e.g., a scholarship proof, proof of income) that you can afford the rent and (2) a valid liability insurance. !!
