Die WG an sich ist auch nicht von schlechten Eltern. Sie liegt neben Kaufland und Damaskus, das bedeutet, du brauchst zu Fuß nur 2 Minuten zum Bahnhof, 5 Minuten in die Stadt, 7 Minuten auf den Stadt-Campus und 12 Minuten auf den Haupt-Campus. Mit dem Fahrrad könntest du es auch schon mal in 5 Minuten schaffen. Schwimmhalle und Fitnesscenter sind ebenfalls zu Fuß in 2 Minuten erreichbar.

The apartment is located next to Kaufland and Damascus, which means you only need to walk 2 minutes to the train station, 5 minutes into the city, 7 minutes to the city campus and 12 minutes to the main campus. You could also get there in 5 minutes by bike. The swimming pool and fitness centre are also just a 2-minute walk away.

Die WG besteht derzeit aus Felix (22/Mechatronik) und Ben (22/AMW), die beide Bachelor-Studenten an der Universität sind. Wir sind absolut keine Funktions-WG. Uns verbindet, dass wir mehrmals in der Woche zusammen kochen. Wir gehen auch zusammen einkaufen, ins Studentencafé oder feiern zusammen in den Clubs. Wenn wir nicht gerade in Ilmenau unterwegs sind, zeigen wir uns gegenseitig lustige Sachen aus dem Internet oder schauen unsere WG-Serien. Natürlich gibt es auch die Möglichkeit, die Tür zu schließen und zu sagen „du lernst“, um seine Ruhe zu haben :)

Wir haben eine ziemlich große Küche mit einer gemütlichen Couch und ein großes Wohnzimmer. Das ist natürlich ideal für gemeinsames Kochen, Projekte oder Lerngruppen. Das hat natürlich auch den Vorteil, dass man sich gemütlich mit Freunden treffen kann oder einen Drink vor dem Essen nehmen kann.

The flat share currently consists of Felix (22/mechatronics) and Ben (22/AMW), who are both Bachelor students at the university. We are absolutely not a functional flat share. Our bond is that we cook together several times a week. We also go shopping together, go to the student café or party together in the clubs. When we're not out and about in Ilmenau, we show each other funny things from the Internet or watch our flat-sharing series. Of course, you also have the option of closing the door and saying "you're studying" to have some peace and quiet :)

We have a fairly large kitchen with a cosy couch and a large living room. This is of course ideal for cooking together, projects or study groups. Of course, it also has the advantage that you can have a cosy get-together with friends or a pre-dinner drink.

Die Nachbarn sind sehr freundlich. Wir hatten nie Probleme mit ihnen, trotz der lebhaften Grillabende, die wir veranstaltet haben.

The neighbours are very friendly. We never had any problems with the them, despite the lively barbecue evenings we hosted.
