Ab 1.6. WG - Zimmer Unmöbliert am Heumarkt / Unfurnished Room in Shared Appartment at Heumarkt

Die Wohnung liegt direkt am Heumarkt, du wirst also im Herzen von Köln wohnen. Du gelangst direkt zu den Bahn-Linien 1, 5, 7, 9 und den Busverkehr. Linie 3, 4 und 17 erreichst du in 11min Fußweg und den Hauptbahnhof in 13 min. Somit kommst du überall hin und wieder nach Hause. Außerdem liegt die Wohnung sehr nah am Rhein (2 min zu Fuß).
Die Alt- und Südstadt mit vielen Bars, Kneipen und Restaurants sind direkt um die Ecke. Es gibt einen Rewe und DM fußläufig in der Nähe, sowie die Hohestraße/Schildergasse.

The apartment is located at Heumarkt, so you will be living in the heart of Cologne. You have direct access to the metro lines 1, 5, 7, 9 and the bus. The metro lines 3, 4 and 17 are an 11-minute walk away and the main railway station is 13 minutes away, so you can go anywhere and back home again. The flat is also very close to the Rhine (2 min walk).
The old and southern city centre with their many bars, pubs and restaurants are just around the corner. There is a Rewe and DM within walking distance, as well as Hohestraße/Schildergasse.

Es ziehen alle 3 bisherigen Bewohner*innen aus. Also wirst du mit uns eine neue WG gründen. Zeitgleich zum 1.6. mit dir ziehen ein:

Jannis: Ich bin 25 Jahre alt und ziehe jetzt das erste Mal in eine WG. Ich arbeite als Schulbegleitung in einer Förderschule in Porz-Wahn. In meiner Freizeit bin ich viel auf Konzerten und Festivals unterwegs (Heavy Metal, Hardcore, Stoner Rock), lese gerne und werde hoffentlich bald wieder anfangen Sport zu machen. Ansonsten mag ich Gesellschaftsspiele und spiele gerne Darts. Und das auch nicht allzu schlecht, also Vorsicht! Ich bin ein ruhiger und entspannter Mensch, aber auch kommunikativ und für jeglichen Spaß zu haben. Ich bin Vegetarier und kann eine sehr gute vegane Thai Currysuppe kochen.

Mare: Ich bin 28 Jahre alt und schreibe bald meine Masterarbeit in der Politikwissenschaft und ziehe jetzt zum Arbeiten nach Köln. Ich bin immer gerne viel mit Leuten unterwegs, sei es in der Natur oder bei Kulturveranstaltungen, und mache gerne Sport und reise viel. Ich engagier mich auch ehrenamtlich und Queerfeminismus ist dabei ein Thema, das mir besonders am Herzen liegt. In ruhigen Momenten lese ich oder zocke auch mal gerne. Ansonsten verquatsche ich mich gerne mit meinen Mitbewohner*innen in der Küche. Ich ernähre mich auch vegetarisch und meine Kürbis-Currysuppe kann vielleicht der von Jannis Konkurrenz machen ;)

Es ist uns wichtig, dass die WG nicht nur eine Zweck-WG ist, wir beide mögen zum Beispiel gemeinsame Spieleabende. Aber natürlich sollte auch jede*r sich zurückziehen können. Ansonsten ist uns gute Kommunikation wichtig, damit aufeinander Rücksicht genommen wird. Und natürlich Sauberkeit und Ordnung. Wir sind alle erwachsen, und es sollte niemanden hinterher geräumt werden müssen. Da wir beide nicht rauchen, möchten wir nicht, dass in der WG geraucht wird. Zudem sind uns gewisse Werte und Standpunkte wichtig. Wir sind gegen Rassismus, Sexismus, Homophobie, Queerfeindlichkeit und Ableismus. All 3 previous residents are moving out. You'll be moving in at the same time as us:

Jannis: I'm 25 years old and it's my first time living in a shared appartment. I work as a school support at a school for children with special need in Porz-Wahn. In my free time, I go to a lot of concerts and festivals (heavy metal, hardcore, stoner rock), I like reading and will hopefully pick up sports again soon. Apart from that, I like board games and playing darts. And I am not too bad at it either, so watch out! I am a calm and relaxed person, but also communicative and up for any kind of fun. I am a vegetarian and can cook a very good vegan Thai curry soup.

Mare: I'm 28 years old and will soon be writing my Master's thesis in political science and am now moving to Cologne for work. I always enjoy doing stuff with other people, be it in nature or at cultural events, and I like doing sports and travel a lot. I also do voluntary work and queer feminism is a topic that is particularly close to my heart. In quiet moments, I like to read or play video games. Otherwise, I like to chat with my flatmates in the kitchen. I am also a vegetarian and my pumpkin curry soup might rival Jannis' ;)

It's important to us that we also get along well and sometimes do stuff together - we both lgames nights, for example. But of course everyone should also be able to have their own space whenever they want to. Apart from that, good communication is important to us so that we are considerate of each other. And of course cleanliness and tidiness is important too. We are all adults and nobody should have to clean up after anyone. As neither of us smoke, we don't want people to smoke in the appartment. Certain values are also important to us. We are against racism, sexism, homophobia, queerophobia and ableism. Wie du ja schon gelesen hast, ist die Wohnung sehr zentral gelegen, damit also sehr im Stadtgeschehen. Nur dass du dir bewusst bist, dass es vielleicht mal etwas wuseliger oder lauter sein könnte, auch da die Bahn sehr nah an der Wohnung fährt. Die Wohnung war zuvor ein Büro und war daher noch nicht so wohnlich eingerichtet, aber unsere Vorgänger*innen haben schon eingerichtet und es ist noch Platz für deine Ideen, um es noch gemütlicher zu machen :)

As you've already read, the apartment is very close to the city centre. Just be aware that it might get a bit busier or noisier at times, also since the tram runs very close to the apartment. The apartment was previously used as an office and was therefore not so cosy, but our predecessors have already furnished and decorated it and there is still room for your ideas to make it even more comfortable :)
