Es zieht Leute immer wieder unter anderem noch einmal in andere Teile von Deutschland und der Welt, so dass im Haus einige Veränderungen anstehen. Wenn Zimmer frei werden, wird auch weiterhin nach BIJPoC Personen gesucht. Falls du/ihr also z.B. als Gruppe Interesse habt, sind wir da offen für und freuen uns von euch zu hören. FLINTA (Frauen, Lesben, Inter, Nonbinary, Trans, Agender) und Queeren Personen wollen wir bei unserer Suche gerne den Vortritt lassen.

Wir sind auf der Suche nach einer BIJPoC Person, die Lust hat, bei uns einzuziehen!
Das Zimmer hat Charakter und Charme. Es ist schätzungsweise zwischen 13 und 16m2 groß und es gibt dort eine fest installierte Hochebene. Die Miete beträgt ca. 340€.
Eine offizielle Anmeldung ist bei uns leider nicht möglich, aber wir haben Möglichkeiten das gemeinsam zu regeln.
Das Zimmer ist ab März frei.
WARUM BIJPoC
Aktuell sind wir ein gemischt bewohntes Haus aus einer Mehrheit von BIJPoC, sowie noch zwei weiß positionierten Personen. Es ist aktueller Wunsch/Prozess der Gruppe, einen nicht-weiß-dominierten Wohnraum zu schaffen, sodass ausschließlich BIJPoC für die weiterhin frei werdenden Zimmer gesucht werden. Die Mitbewohnis der aktuellen Konstellation haben sich mit Rassismuskritik und Privilegienreflexion beschäftigt, ab und zu finden hierzu auch Prozesse in der Gesamtgruppe statt und ein Konsens über die Problematik bestehender rassistischer Machtverhältnisse besteht. Wir sind uns darüber bewusst, dass das ein kontinuiertlicher Prozess ist. In der WG leben sehr viele queere und trans* Personen, sodass diesbezüglich eine Sensibilisierung Voraussetzung für uns für einen Einzug ist.
HAUS
Das Haus ist groß und alt. Das bietet einerseits viel Platz und Möglichkeiten sich auszuleben, es gibt zum Beispiel eine Werkstatt im Keller. Andererseits bedeutet es auch eine Menge Improvisation und Reparatur. Das Haus ist zweigeschossig mit Treppe und allein deshalb leider nicht rollstuhlgerecht. Und für starke Allergiker*innen oder Personen mit Atemwegserkrankungen ist das Haus vermutlich auch nicht so gut geeignet, wegen vieler Teppiche.
ZIMMER
Das Zimmer hat eine Hochebene und befindet sich im Erdgeschoss. Es ist ca. 20 m2 groß.

We are a house-sharing community in Cologne-Dünnwald and have a room available from march 2024 on and are looking for BIJPoC (Black, Indigenous, Jewish, People of Colour) people to move in.

Perspectively there will be other rooms available over the year. Among other things, people are moving to other parts of Germany and the world, so there will be some changes in the house. When rooms become available, we will continue to look for BIJPoC people.
WHY BIJPoC
Currently we are a mixed inhabited house of BIJPoC as well as two white positioned people. It is the current desire of the group to create a less white-dominated living space, so we are seeking BIJPoC. The housemates of the current constellation have invested some work in racism critique and privilege reflection so far, now and then processes take place in the whole group and a consensus exists about the problem of existing racist power relations. There are a lot of queer and trans* people living in the house share, so that a sensitization in this regard is a requirement for us to move in.
ROOM
The rooms here are all very unique and hard to describe. They are approximately between 13 and 16m2 in size and there is a permanently installed mezzanine. The rent is about 330€.
Unfortunately, an official registration is not possible with us, but we have possibilities to solve this together.
The room will be available from march 2024 on. If you want to come earlier - it is eventually possible.
HOUSE
The house is large and old. On the one hand, this offers a lot of space and possibilities to live out our lives, for example, there is a workshop in the basement. On the other hand, it also means a lot of improvisation and repair. The house is two-story with stairs and therefore not wheelchair accessible. And for people with strong allergies or respiratory diseases the house is probably not so well suited.

Wir sind hier am Stadtrand mit dem Dünnwalder Forst und zwei Seen in direkter Nähe, zudem gibt es noch die Tram 4, mit der du in 15 Minuten am Wiener Platz in Mülheim bist, die dich aber auch direkt zum Bahnhof Messe/Deutz oder nach Ehrenfeld bringt.

LOCATION
We are on the outskirts of the city with the Dünnwalder Forst and two lakes in the immediate surrounding, and there is also the tram 4, which takes you to Wiener Platz in Mülheim in 15 minutes. Also the line 4 takes you directly to the station Köln Messe/Deutz and to Ehrenfeld.

WER und POLITIK
Wir sind 5 verschiedenste Person, die nach 3 weiteren suchen. Wir sind so zwischen 25 und 33 und beschäftigen uns alle mit verschiedenen politischen Themen wie z.B. Queerfeminismus, Antirassismus und Klimagerechtigkeit. Hauptsächlich machen wir das individuell, manchmal aber auch als Gruppe.
Ein paar von uns sind trans und/oder nicht-binär. Deshalb ist es für uns Voraussetzung, dass du offen für queere/LGBTIAQ* Themen bist und Pronomen respektiert werden.
Desweiteren wollen wir den Wohnraum zu einem weniger weiß dominierten Ort machen, weshalb wir zum langfristigen Wohnen BIJ_PoC suchen. Wir beschäftigen uns mit den Themen Rassismus und Diskriminierung, auch gemeinsam in der Gruppe.
Eine Sensibilisierung zu diesen Themen ist uns sehr wichtig, damit betroffene Menschen sich hier wohlfühlen können.
MIETE und ESSEN
Wir bezahlen im Durchschnitt 340 Euro pro Zimmer, versuchen die Miete aber solidarisch umzuverteilen. In diesem Betrag ist auch schon die gemeinsame Essenskasse drin, aus der wir vegane Lebensmittel kaufen.
Ein Teil von uns ernährt sich ausschließlich vegan, aber nicht alle. Daher haben wir uns darauf geeinigt möglichst vegan zu kochen und eher wenige tierische Produkte im Haus zu haben. Fleisch wird eigentlich nicht gekocht.
ZUSAMMENLEBEN
Das Leben kann sehr unterschiedlich bei uns sein: An manchen Tagen geht unsere Tür ständig auf und zu, weil soviel Besuch den Kopf durch die Tür steckt, an anderen verkrümeln sich alle in ihre Zimmer oder sind unterwegs. Doch frühstücken wir auch immer wieder gerne zusammen und quatschen uns am Küchentisch fest. Oft sind wir auch gemeinsam unterwegs oder starten spontan verschiedenste Aktivitäten.
Wir freuen uns auf jeden Fall auf neue Mitbewohnis, die Lust auf Gemeinschaft haben!

WHO and POLITICS
We are a bunch of 5 people, looking for another 3.
We`re between 25 and 33. We are politically involved in different ways and deal with issues such as queer feminism, anti-racism, and climate justice. Mainly we do this individually, sometimes as a group.
Some of us are trans and/or non-binary, so it's important to us that you are sensitive to queer/LGBTIAQ* topics and that pronouns are respected.
Currently we are a mixed inhabited house of BIPoC as well as 2 white positioned people. It is the current desire of the group to create a less white-dominated living space, so, for long term, we are seeking BIJ_PoC.
We also deal the topics anti-racism and discrimination, individually and sometime also in the group.
So sensitization in these regards is really important for us, so that affected people can feel good here :)
RENT and FOOD
We pay on average 340 Euro per room, but we try to redistribute the rent in solidarity. This amount also includes the common food, from which we buy all vegan food.
A part of us eats exclusively vegan, but not all of us. Therefore, we have agreed to cook as vegan as possible and to have rather few animal products in the house. Meat is not really cooked.
LIVING TOGETHER
Life can be very different with us: Some days our door is constantly opening and closing because so many visitors poke their heads through the door, while on others everyone hunkers down in their rooms or is out and about. But we often like to have breakfast together and chat at the kitchen table. Often we are also out together or spontaneously start something.
We look forward in any case to a new house mate, who is up for community!
Our life together is communal, sometimes more, sometimes less. We organize ourselves in weekly meetings and have a cleaning schedule. We like to eat breakfast together and chat around the kitchen table.
