Hallo! Unsere Wohnung ist im dritten Stock, und hat zwei Etagen. Unten befinden sich zwei Zimmer, die Küche und ein Bad und im oberen Geschoss ist das dritte Zimmer, ein weiteres Bad mit Wanne, ein kleiner Wohn- und Essbereich und eine verdammt geile Dachterrasse. Dort ist von mittags bis abends Sonne und freie Sicht z.B. auf den Sonnenuntergang.
Das verfügbare Zimmer ist im unteren Geschoss, neben der Küche. Es ist 17 m2 groß und hat ein Fenster in Richtung Süden, also die Sonne scheint, sogar im Winter. Das Zimmer ist zur Strasse raus. Die Strasse ist recht viel befahren. Das Zimmer wird leer übergeben.

Hi there! Our apartment is on the top (third) floor of the building, and is split over two levels. On the first floor are the kitchen, a bathroom (with shower) and two bedrooms. The second floor has our dining table, another bathroom (with bath), a bedroom, and a large terrace. The terrace gets a lot of sun in the summer, and we get killer sunsets too!
The available room is on the first floor. It's 17 m2 and has a south-facing window, so it catches a lot of sun, especially on winter days if the clouds don't spoil the sky. It's facing the street, so morning traffic can be a problem if you're a light sleeper.
The furniture is not included with the room.
Rewe kann man in 5 Minuten erreichen und Lidl ist auch nur so 7/8 Minuten entfernt. Bus (141 und 143) ist direkt gegenueber und die naechste S-Bahn (S19 und S12) ist nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Mit nem Fahhrad ist man innerhalb von 10 Minuten im Braunsfelder Stadtwald oder fährt durch die Felder außerhalb Köln.
There's a Rewe down the street (five minutes tops) and a Lidl also nearby (seven or eight minutes away). You can catch the bus (141 and 143) across the street and there's an S-Bahn station (S19 and S12) just ten minutes away. With a bike, you're in the Braunsfelder Stadtwald or riding through the out-of-town fields in just ten minutes.
Wir sind Ed (28) und Nico (27). Ed ist aus den USA geflohen und promoviert hier in Klimaphysik. Nico ist aus Wolfsburg geflohen und ist - Achtung, Trommelwirbel: Zauberer. Wir sprechen beide Deutsch und Englisch fließend. Wir kochen sehr sehr gerne, vorwiegend Vegetarisch, aber nicht ausschliesslich.
Wir sind auch gut befreundet mit fast allen Nachbarn im Haus und besuchen uns oft. Die Hausgemeinschaft ist sehr gemischt, alternativ und unheimlich bereichernd. Im Sommer chillen wir im Garten mit den Hauskaninchen oder auf der Dachterrasse.
Falls wir glauben, dass du zu uns passt, würden wir uns zunächst zum Skypen verabreden und sollten wir dann immer noch glauben, dass es passt, kannst du gerne vorbeikommen und dir alles anschauen.

Your future flatmates are Ed (28) and Nico (27). Ed's from a hippie part of the USA and does climate physics. Nico's from Germany and a magician. Both of us are fluent in English and German. We both like cooking and although we're not strict vegetarians, we seldom eat meat.
We're also good friends with almost all of our neighbors in the house, and visit them often. In the summer, we all spend a lot of time in the garden together, along with our two house bunnies, Gloria and Greeno, who like pears and pets.
Write us a little about yourself and about how you see or what you wish for in communal living. If we feel potential for a good fit for us three, we can arrange a skype call and if we think the pontetial is still there, we'll invite you to visit and check out the place in person.
