Hi, I am Wang and renting out my room for 5 months. Let's talk about the technical aspects first. The room is around 17sqm and has a balcony with some plants and a very nice view. I am doing an internship in another city so I am renting out my room for short term. Furniture in this room includes a desk, a comfortable office chair, single bed (90x200), a Ikea shelf (Kallax) and clothing rack.
The room is perfect for students, there is enough space for some furniture to make it cosy and comfortable. The room is not facing towards the streets so it's pretty quiet all the time.
In this WG we share a dining/living area, a kitchen and a bathroom with washing machine.
Also, Anmeldung is possible!
The location is great! The building is next to the Kalker Hauptstraße where you can find everything you need, there are supermarkets (Lidl, Aldi Rewe), shopping malls (Köln Arcade), bakeries, different kinds of restaurants.
The nearest Straßenbahn station is Kalk Kapelle (around 5 min walking) where you can take the lines 1 and 9. The nearest S-Bahn station is Trimbornstraße (10 min walking). The nice thing is that one needs approx. 15 min to reach Neumarkt, and 20 min to the Hbf taking into account walking times.
In general it is a really open minded and relaxed WG, politically inclined to the left, queer friendly and with different cultural backgrounds. Respect, consideration and communication while living together are expected. Living here has been a pretty nice experience.

Hello, I’m Anika, 27 years old and I am currently studying a Master’s in Professional Writing. Apart from that I work as a freelance Social Media manager and I sometimes perform poetry at small festivals. Open communication is very important to me in terms of living together, as well as keeping the common areas clean and tidy. Other than that, I’m often up for a chat or some coworking in the common areas, but I also understand and respect when people prefer to keep to themselves.
I'm queer and filipinx-german. In my freetime I like to cook, play the ukulele, hang out with friends and I go to a lot of (queer) BIPOC safer space and community events. I also really enjoy WG activities like going on small trips or having dinner together from time to time. I speak English and German and I’m learning Tagalog.

Heyyy I'm Khaled, I'm 26, I study game design at TH Köln and I am very excited to meet you! I spend my time mostly working on assignments for university, playing chess online, watching documentaries, learning German or spending time with my friends. I love cooking too! And I bake something fun every now and then. All-in-all I think I'm a pretty chill person who's looking for like-minded chill people for our WG. Always happy to have a chat or have dinner together.
We have a cleaning plan, and some expenses are shared. Additionally, I would like you to mention in your response your favorite Disney movie, just to let us know that you have read everything.
