Hier gibt es in direkter Nähe viele Einkaufs-, Ess- und Chillgelegenheiten. Der Supermarkt ist 3 Minuten entfernt, der Volksgarten in 5 Minuten erreichbar und der Rhein in 10. Auch Anbindungen an Busse und Bahnen sind zwischen 2 und maximal 10 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen, Zugweg und Bonner Wall bzw. Chlodwigplatz sind die nächsten Haltestellen.

There are many shopping, dining and chill opportunities in the immediate vicinity. The supermarket is 3 minutes away, the Volksgarten in 5 minutes and the Rhine in 10. Also connections to buses and trains are between 2 and a maximum of 10 minutes walk, Zugweg and Bonner Wall or Chlodwigplatz are the nearest stops.

Soooo, nun zum allerwichtigsten Teil. Wir sind nämlich mehr als WG, wir sind Familie füreinander. Wir, das sind Flixi, David, Becci und Miri. Wir durften 2 Jahre miteinander hier leben und lieben und das war eine gute Zeit. Jetzt sind wir aber ready für neue Energy und neue Menschis, denn Flixi wird nun weiterziehen: Da kommst du ins Spiel!
Zunächst eine kurze Positionierung: Wir sind alle weiß, able-bodied, queer (teils bzgl. Orientierung und/oder Identifikation) und haben dazu eine politische Meinung. Dazu gehört für uns, unser Verhalten, wie auch Privilegien zu reflektieren (bzw. unser Bestes zu versuchen). Daher suchen wir Menschen, die es ebenso halten. Wir sind ein SafeSpace und wollen ein solcher bleiben! Wenn du gegen (Cis-)Sexismus, Rassismus und sonstige Diskriminierung einstehst und Macht- und Herrschaftverhältnisse verstehen willst und dann abbauen möchtest, let us know <3 . Solidarität, konsent und gegenseitige Hilfe ist die Basis unseres Zusammenlebens. Außerdem legen wir großen Wert auf radikale Ehrlichkeit :)
Leider wohnen wir im ersten Stock und sind vermutlich nicht gut geeignet für Menschen mit Geh_behinderung. Ein weiterer Hinweis: Zurzeit wohnt ein Mensch (Cis-männlich, hetero, weiß teilweise auch noch im Learning Prozess bzgl. politischer Haltungen etc. lol, aber echt auch super lieb und bereitwillig zu lernen) aus der Ukraine in unserem Wohnzimmer, vielleicht wird dies bei Einzug auch noch der Fall sein. Mittelfristig suchen wir eine feste Bleibe für unseren Untermieter.
Nun zu uns:
David (er/ihn) ist ein ganz liebes, freches und empathisches Engelchen. Er studiert aktuell in Mönchengladbach Textile and Clothing Management, guckt immer das genug Klopapier da ist (haha), ist sehr lustig und auch frech manchmal. Außerdem hat er die WG auch im Auge im Hinblick auf Struktur und Finanzen.
Bex (sie/keins) ist unser politischer Motor. Sie treibt uns, sich, aber vor allem eine bessere Welt voran. Bald hat sie auch das Studium der Sozialen Arbeit abgeschlossen. Außerdem unterhält sie die WG bisweilen mit leckerem veganem Essen und dem einen oder anderen lustig-lauten Späßchen.
Miri (sie/ihr) ist die offene WG-Mami und wenn sie nicht grade wandern im Grünen ist, räumt sie den Kühlschrank auf. Sie studiert Empowerment-Studies, ist gerne kreativ (wie wir alle!!) und holt die Rasselbande auch zusammen zum Ausflüge unternehmen.
Auch wenn Flixi geht, unseren lieben und süßen grünen Daumen werden wir nicht zum letzten Mal hier gesehen haben.
Unsere Gemeinschaft hat einen besonders hohen Stellenwert bei uns, deshalb sind auch deine Freund*innen und Familie immer herzlich Willkommen.

Soooo, now to the most important part. We are more than WG, we are family for each other. We, that is Flixi, David, Becci and Miri. We were allowed to live and love together here for 2 years and that was a good time. But now we are ready for new energy and new humans, because Flixi will move on: That's where you come in!
First a short positioning: We are all white, able-bodied, queer (partly concerning orientation and/or identification) and have a political opinion. For us, this includes reflecting on our behavior, as well as privilege (or trying our best). Therefore we are looking for people who think the same way. We are a SafeSpace and want to stay one! If you stand up against (cis-)sexism, racism and other discrimination, feel free to get in touch. Solidarity and mutual help is the basis of our coexistence. We also attach great importance to radical honesty :)
Unfortunately, we live on the second floor and are probably not well suited for people with walking_disabilities. Another note: Currently a person (cis-male, straight, partly still in the learning process regarding political attitudes etc. lol, but really also super sweet and willing to learn) from Ukraine lives in our living room, maybe this will be the case when we move in. In the medium term we are looking for a permanent home for our lodger.
Now about us:
David (he/him) is quite a sweet, cheeky and empathetic little angel. He is currently studying Textile and Clothing Management in Mönchengladbach, always makes sure there is enough toilet paper (haha), is very funny and sometimes cheeky. He also keeps an eye on the WG in terms of structure and finances.
Bex (she/no one) is our political engine. She pushes us, herself, but most of all a better world. Soon she will also graduate with a degree in social work. She also entertains the WG from time to time with delicious vegan food and the odd funny-loud joke.
Miri (she/her) is the open-minded WG mommy and when she is not hiking in the countryside, she cleans the fridge. She studies empowerment studies, likes to be creative (like all of us!!) and also gets the rascals together for outings.
Even though Flixi is leaving, we won't have seen the last of our dear and sweet green thumb here.
Our community is very important to us, so friends and family are always welcome.

Die Kosten für das Zimmer und die Wohnung belaufen sich auf 513€. Zurzeit suchen wir erstmal eine Zwischenmiete (vom 01.08-01.10) mit der Aussicht auf eine unbefristete Verlängerung ab Oktober, das ist jedoch noch nicht abzuschätzen und wir würden das im Laufe der Zeit besprechen, wenn das auch in deinem Sinne ist. Wenn das Zimmer langfristig gemietet würde, würde ein Abschlag in Höhe von 500€ plus Kaution anfallen.

The cost of the room and the apartment is 513€. At the moment we are looking for an intermediate rent (from 01.08-01.10) with the prospect of a permanent extension from October, but this is not yet to be estimated and we would discuss it over time, if that is also in your sense. If the room would be rented long term, there would be a deduction of 500€ plus deposit.
