LAGE: Super zentral, direkt gegenüber von Aachener Weiher. Haltestelle Universitätsstrasse ist 3 Minuten entfernt und da fahren die 1 und 7 in die Innenstadt und zum Deutzer Bahnhof. Auf der Dürener Strasse gibt es Aldi, Rewe, Edeka, DM, Rossman, Denn's und diversen anderen Läden sowie Cafes usw. Aachener Strasse ist auch in Stolperentfernung und mit dem Fahrrad ist man in ca. 10 Minuten in der Innenstadt, in Ehrenfeld oder in der Südstadt. Wer es grün mag hat hier nicht nur den Aachener Weiher sondern auch den Kanal, und wenn man da lang läuft, dahinter auch den Stadtwald.

LOCATION: super central, across the road from Aachener Weiher. The tram stop Universitätsstrasse is 3 minutes walk and lines 1 and 7 go from there to the city centre and Deutzer Bahnhof. On Dürener Strasse we have Aldi, Rewe, Edeka, DM, Rossman, Denn's and various other shops as well as cafes etc. Aachener Strasse is also in staggering distance and with a bike you can be in the city centre, ehrenfeld or southside in about 10 mins. If you like it green, you've not just got Aachener Weiher here but also the canal, and, at the other end of it, the city woods.

ZU UNS: wir sind Olli und Sam und Emmi. Olli ist Designer, schreibt an seinem Thesis und arbeitet nebenbei in einem Backpacker Hostel, Sam ist Kommunikations- und Sprachlehrerin an einer Hochschule und hat einen eigenen Startup nebenbei, ist grad allerdings in Elternzeit. Emmi ist jetzt sieben Monate alt, sabbert gern und lacht sehr viel, vor allem wenn man lustige Gesichter macht. Deshalb ist Kinderfreundlichkeit hier ein muss. Auch Weltoffenheit und Lgbtqia+-Freundlichkeit sind für uns absolute Voraussetzung. In der Wohnung wird Englisch und Deutsch gesprochen und der Freundeskreis ist international, bunt, und wenn nicht gerade eine globale Pandemie herrscht auch oft zu Besuch auf Koch- oder Spieleabende. Hier wird gut, gerne, oft und fast rein pflanzlich gekocht, aber beim Bestellen und Knabbern holt sich Olli manchmal was nicht pflanzliches. Wir spielen gerne Brett- Karten- und Gesellschaftspiele und bauen unsere Sammlung langsam aber sicher auf. Zu unseren anderen Hobbies zählen kochen, essen, irgendwas basteln, im 'Vorgarten' (Aachener Weiher) grillen, am Küchentisch Kaffee, Wein oder Bierchen trinken und ewig lange philosophieren.

Wir lieben das WG-Leben und deswegen suchen wir -trotz Nachwuchs- nach einer neuen Mitbewohnerin oder einem neuen Mitbewohner. Unser derzeitiger Mitbewohner hat sich leider bereits kurz nach seinem Einzug als kompletter Fehlgriff geoutet. Er hat uns bezüglich seiner Einkommensverhältnisse knallhart belogen und verschwiegen, dass er die Miete nicht zahlen kann. Daher wünschen wir uns von Euch irgend einen Liquiditätsnachweis.

Es soll also kein reine Zweck-WG sein - wir suchen jemanden der mal gerne mitkocht und mitzockt oder mal abends mit uns in der Hostelbar abhängt oder feiert. Natürlich muss das auch nicht jeden Tag sein, wir respektieren die Privatsphäre und lassen dich gerne in Ruhe wenn die Zimmertür zubleibt. Uns ist ein respektvoller Umgang und offene Kommunikation nicht nur wichtig, sondern absolute Voraussetzung für das Zusammenleben.

ABOUT US: We are Olli and Sam and Emmi. Olli is a designer, currently working on his thesis and working part-time in a backpacker hostel. Sam is a communication and language lecturer with a small business on the side, currently on maternity leave. Emmi is seven months old. She likes to drool and laughs a lot, especially when someone makes funny faces at her. Child-friendliness is a must here! Openness to other cultures, ethnicities, and backgrounds, as well as to LGBTQIA+, is also an absolute prerequisite for us. English and German are spoken in the flat and our friendship group is international, heterogenous and, when we're not in the middle of a global pandemic, often round for a night of cooking and boardgames. We cook well and often and almost exclusively plant-based, but Olli occasionally gets himself something not plant-based to snack on. We play all kinds of card and board games and are slowly but surely increasing our collection. Our other hobbies include cooking, eating, making things, barbecuing in our 'front garden' (Aachener Weiher), drinking coffee, wine or beer and philosophising endlessly at the
kitchen table. We love living in a shared flat, which is why we are looking for a new flatmate.

Unfortunately, shortly after moving in, our current roommate turned out to be a poor choice. He, lied to us about his income situation and concealed the fact that he couldn't pay the rent. Therefore we would like some kind of proof of liquidity from you.

Sharing our living space is not just a means to an end for us. We are looking for someone to occasionally cook and play a game or two with us or hang out or party in the hostel bar. Of course, that doesn't need to be every day. We respect personal space and will leave you alone if your door is closed. Mutual respect and open communication are not just important to us, but rather absolute prerequisites for shared living.
