Hello,
I am moving out of my lovely room in the
center of the south area near zublich. I am
going back to Sweden to continue
my studies and I would like to rent it out in
subcontract until I am back.
The room is sunny all day, especially in the mornings; the room has:
- a bed of 60cm, which can open to be a double 120 cm.
- a desk to use for work or study
- a closet
- aside bed table
- a dresser
- a shoe place
should know that life is unpredictable, and it
might happen that I might stay longer in
Sweden, then we can discuss the situation in
case you also wanted to prolong your contract.

I had so many good memories here, the location is great, and it was very nice to go everywhere in Koln within walking distance.
Barbarossaplatz is 3 min walk
Zülpicher platz is 3 min walk
Neumark is 20 min walk
The Dom is 30 min walk
There are nice parks (Volksgarden, Aschen Weiher, and others) and grocery shops (REAL, REWE, PENNY, Turkish supermarkets, and others) that are very close. Most importantly, this room is located near all the famous bars and clubs in the area. You feel alive and in the center of all the action.
Parking your car is also no very difficult.
The roommate you will have is very supportive, understanding, and dependable.
The cleaning schedule was very smooth. And there is a dishwasher that can make life easier. Speaking of the kitchen, it was newly renovated, and everything works perfectly.
This is a calm, respectful atmosphere apartment. Any complaints are addressed respectfully and calmly, which indicates a healthy communication vibe here. One rule would be, don't leave notes of your thought; say them directly to the roommate, making it easier to build a healthy relationship. I personally did not need to address any issues.
Friends are welcomed, gatherings are also welcomed, fun is welcomed (As long as it is under the Corona restrictions laws applied at the time). You can also suggest doing some activities together with your roommate, and she is fun. The general atmosphere is friendly and homey-like.
There is a nice cleaning schedule that can be modified according to the flatmates’ work timeline. The roommate has been living in this shared apartment for 4 years with different roommates, whom I meet, and they were all happy here as well.
